On September 29th of 2016, I went to go see the production of Let the Right One In presented by The University of Oklahoma, University Theatre, and Helmerich School of Drama. The play is a stage adaptation by Jack Thorne based on the Swedish novel and film by John Ajvide Linqvist with the same title. It was performed in the Weitzenhoffer Theatre and was directed by Tom Huston Orr. Furthermore, it was the American premiere for Let the Right One In and it was an honor that the Helmerich School of Drama got that privilege. The intense story was about a young boy finding an unlikely friendship with a vampire that left me hanging at the edge of my seat.
