Hello Pastor Alyce,

Update on residents
Falice and Quanisha were arguing late Wednesday night and Jay stepped in to separate them. I spoke to Quanisha and Jay individually the day after. I expressed to Quanisha that she should not let Falice drive her to anger because if she reacts she will get kicked out. Following this altercation Quanisha started working late and I can only perceive from this that she does not want to be affected by Falice presence in the house. I do not believe that someone should be reluctant to work late to be happy at the place they call home.
On the other hand, Quanisha is making progress. She is very responsible. She sends text message reminders in advance to let me know that she's is going to be home late. She and Falice are not getting along so I told her that whenever she feels

She's takes on responsibility for her actions and is a great listening ear to Quanisha.
Falice cleaned her area last week Tuesday but, as of today it is messy. She continues to be manipulative to the residents and pretends like nothing happens. She states that everyone got use to her and so should Quanisha. She said she is failing her classes said that she's going to quit school. I believe her priorities are not straight.
Perla have been working a lot and is making progress in the program. She said she is going to postponed the April planned vacation to May for financial reasons.

This week started off pretty slow. Monday I had the opportunity to go on a home visit to a foster home. This has been one of the most interesting visit of all. I went out with Faith, a Family Specialist. This therapeutic foster home housed 3 special needs children. The oldest girl has a diagnosis of Asperger and the youngest children, a girl and boy, have a diagnosis of Autism. They are awesome kids and they have been blessed with delightful foster parents. I just get good vibes whenever I interact with this family.
Foster parent, Shanikqua Glenn, stated that the reason she requested this Review is because she would like to express her “point of view” of the incident. Ms. Glenn indicated that she is concerned about Azzore; she is receiving phone calls from his school and he is “crying for me.” Ms. Glenn expressed that Azzore has various marks on him which were inflicted by his sister, Tymani. Ms. Glenn indicated that she is concerned about Tymani and Azzore being in a foster home and the treatment Azzore is subjected to by Tymani. Ms. Glenn voiced that Tymani was not allowed to physically abuse Azzore while both children were placed in her home.
Despite J’s broken family and sick mother, she has a very strong support system backing up her. Like I previously mentioned, J’s mother and brother are extremely supportive. They are more than involved with J’s school life. Even though J is an independent girl her family is always there to back her up with anything. J’s sister and brother and law are also a huge support to not only J but also the family. J’s sister and her sisters husband are established and living on their
A, B, C) Priscilla explained to MSTT and Jessica she ran away from her last foster placement because no one was listening to her regarding how she was being treated there. Jessica explained she also wanted to be reunified with her mother. Jessica stated she attempted to speak with her CYS worker and her JPO caseworker regarding her feelings and wanted to be placed in another foster home. After several attempts, Jessica stated she decided to take matters into her own hand to
The worker contacted Brittany Coleman, the sister of Jessica Farrand. Mrs. Coleman stated” I don’t think the children are being properly taken care of because Jessica is erratic, emotionally unstable, and she and Steven Burke both have a drug and alcohol problems”. Mrs. Coleman stated “Jessica is in an abusive relationship with Steven and he has put a gash on her forehead so bad my mother had to take her to the hospital. Jessica originally told my mother she fell and got the gash, but later admitted to me it was from fighting with Steven”. Mrs. Coleman stated “Jessica doesn’t talk to her children, all she does is scream, yell, and curse at them they don’t get any help from her they’re defenseless”. Mrs. Coleman stated “The children live in

Cheryl Leopold is a 38 year old single mother of two girls Jasmine (13) and Kylie (11). In the past year, particularly in the past six months Cheryl described Jasmine’s behaviour as being “out of control” and “difficult”, and it was stated that Jasmine consumes alcohol, skips school, and is showing signs of depression. Cheryl works two part time jobs and is absent three nights a week when she is working night shifts, in which Jasmine sneaks out and ‘does all kinds of stupid stuff”, leaving her sister Kylie unattended. Due to recent events, the Department of Human Services were involved with the Leopold family due to Jasmine disclosing to the staff at her school that Cheryl “beat her” which Cheryl has admitted to and stated that she ‘hit her

I was going to participate in this week’s discussion board but the unbearable work environment caught up with me and ended up under the weather, taking some medication that made me feel tired and sleepy. I have taken a few days off from work to recover and be up to date with my studies.
McKenna Gagner is experiencing problems involving her loved ones. She is constantly feeling overwhelmed and under appreciated by the people she loves the most. But along with that, is struggling with the aspect of time-management. Because of this, she has mentioned it has led to poor physical and mental health, high-stress levels, relationship conflicts, low self-confidence, and loss of time for activities she enjoys the most.
Good Morning Brothers and Sisters, I feel honored and privileged to speak to you today. As many of you know, this is my last Sunday here with you for the next two years. I leave for the MTC on October 4th and will be serving in the California Ventura Mission. I am grateful for the opportunity I have to serve the Lord in this calling. I thank all of you who have taught me, and helped me to grow and prepare for my mission. It is a blessing to have learned from you.
I hope you and your family are doing well and continuing to enjoy the blessings our heavenly Father gives to us each and every day.

I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving! I had a terrific time in Arizona with lots of family and great fun. Food, talking non-stop, a trip to the Goldfield Ghost Town, and warm weather - we even went swimming! - made for an enjoyable holiday. But the great weather did not accompany us home, we ended up in a blizzard on our way back to New Mexico! Thank you to the semi-truck driver who plowed the road ahead of us and whose tail-lights kept us between the lines and safe.
