I have an interest in being on the board of the Marjaree Mason Center. I would like to find ways to assist people that have been in a domestic violence situation. My major is in Criminology, as a result, I have a better understanding of how to deal with the situation as opposed to another person. I would also get a better understanding of domestic violence by being a part of the board. Also, being one of the lead employees at the CSB Building and Engineering Firm “The Firm”, I could get some financial backing for your organization. The Marjaree Mason Center provides emergency and long-term housing to along with support for victims of domestic violence. This is done in a variety of ways from providing shelter through safe houses, legal assistance, counseling, crisis support, as well as education and training (MMCenter.org). This is a good service especially for those who do not know where to turn when they have been victimized. I would like to give back to the community by giving financial backing as well as assisting the board in improving the organization in helping victims of domestic violence. The Marjaree Mason Center operates two safe houses that are …show more content…

Hello, I'm Jeremy Adili, a 16 year old Junior at Westfield high school. I am intersted in becoming a member of the Indiana Legislative Youth Advisory Council. It's my understanding that the board could use more input and paticipation on reports and other documents. I was recommended to look into the council by a current member and would be honored for you to take me under consideration for a position.
I want to be a student representative to the Pasco board of directors because it will be a tremendous achievement that will help greatly in my academic interests. Not only so but I believe that I could best interpret the concerns and doubts of every single student at Chiawana. From grades, testing, and even academic ability. I’m most adequate, as a result that I’ve been there done that. I know what it is like waking up every day with disappointment of my current grades, or to sit through a lecture not understanding a single thing.
