Part.1: Having knowledge of anatomy and an understanding of the body systems can help a medical professional understand the source of an injury or illness and can improve the care they give to the patients. Understanding medical and anatomical terminology helps you to communicate with other members of the medical care team. Also, using proper terminology helps to avoid misunderstandings when sharing your assessment findings. Part.2: The muscles that move the forearm are the triceps, biceps, brachii, and brachial is that are located along the humerus. The humerus is a long bone in the arm or forelimb that runs from the shoulder to the elbow. Part.3: • Muscles move the body by contracting and relaxing. • Contracting means becoming shorter.
Medical terminology has a long and rich history that evolved in great measure from the Latin and Greek languages. “It is estimated that about three-fourths of our medical terminology is of Greek origin.”(Banay) “Latin accounts for the majority of root words in the English language.” (Fallon).
This class has taught multiple skills required to be a paramedic. Some of these skills are assessing an injured person with a possible spine fracture, how to properly handle the situation while getting them inside the ambulance, and how to properly use the instruments and tools necessary for the given situations. I was also taught how to perform two major ways of CPR, also depending on if the patient has a back injury making it impossible for us to move them. Among these skills, we also learned about all the various systems of the body, their structures, functions and how to handle a situation in which a specific system is at risk or needs to be treated. The actual skills are very important to learn, but so is the medical terminology that is involved. This was another attribute of the medical field that this class helped me expand my knowledge in. These are all important pieces of information and skills that one has to develop and improve on in order to advance in the medical field, and one way to improve is by learning about the very basics of the human

Our training delivery partner, College of DuPage (COD), will provide the Medical Terminology training sessions on May 19th and June 7th. After attending the session, you will be able to:
Being able to break information down to where the patient or patients can understand is a wonderful skill to posses because I will be dealing with so many cultures, ethnicity, and age groups. A lot of people do not understand when doctors and even medical assistants use certain terms, so when they are spoken to where they can understand, it makes them feel better just knowing what is going on instead of feeling more confused than what they was when they came in. And also it lets them know that you care enough to take the time and effort to make sure they understand.
Anatomy and Physiology is a class that I feel will help with my body and how it works. This class can help me in many different ways but, specifically it could help me in 3 ways. Specifically this class can help me with diet, how to gain muscle, and how our organs work. Diet and muscle gain is something that i've struggled with and this class can give me knowledge on how to improve that. Our organs is something i find interesting because our body relies on them to do simple things in life.
Medical acronyms allow people in the healthcare industry to communicate more efficiently by assigning “nicknames,” or abbreviations, to processes, procedures and organizations. Although there are hundreds of acronyms and medical terms used every day in medical care, these 24 are important to every modern practice, if you want to take advantage of incentives and resources available to your organization.
For as long as I can remember I have always had an interest in the human body and how it functions. As a young girl, my mother noticed my interest in this and began to buy me human anatomy books. Since my mother worked in the medical field, she has inspired me and has encouraged me from the start. As I've gotten older, my love for the human anatomy has only grown. As a junior, I was able to take an anatomy and physiology class at Sanger High School. I was able to excel in that class with my prior knowledge and learned so much more. Along with anatomy, I took a Medical Terminology class. Both of these classes together greatly influenced me into choosing to major in Nursing. Taking the medical terminology class opened my eyes to see the many
Classification based on position of foot at the time of injury and force on ankle leading to fracture:
Medical Terminology plays a very important part in the medical field because it is the main source of communication between all medical staff. Doctors communicate
It facilitates in extension of the elbow. The triceps brachii is the main agonist supporting the elbow into a full extension. The supinator is a broad muscle in the posterior compartment of the forearm curved around the upper third portion of the radius. Its primary function is to supinate the forearm (MJC, 2016).
It's important in the medical field to know how to pronounce and spell the words correctly; it allows doctor assistants and doctors to speak in their own way. These are words you will use this kind of language when you work in anything that has to do with medical fields. proper punctuation and spelling is important because one it does make you look more professional and it is the best way to get around in a clinic, there is words that paints won’t understand only the nurses and doctors so that helps a lot it like having keywords for your job to keep the environment a bit more safety than what it should be.
On the opposing side, there are opinions that raise questions as to whether more federal monies should be allocated to mental health. There is a difference in the diagnosis of a mental health disorder versus a medical diagnosis. Whereas medical diagnoses have precise gauges of a disease, mental health diagnoses are far more difficult and unclear to visually see. Certain clinical psychologists argue that increasing the likelihood and number of mental health diagnosis will leave negative impacts on students of the younger generations. “For children, the lens is still being formed. There is more that can be done to ease some of their difficulties and empower the family to function better” (Westfall, 2011). This is what clinicians argue against
The Medical Terminology are parts of words that you are going to joint to make a word, but some of this word are going to be exact like another word but are going to change a letter or some letters, and they don't go to mean the same. The Medical Terminology are going to be part of root and affixes and they are used to denote number or size, direction, color, anatomical locations, as well as other meanings.
In contrast, national healthcare or NHS also has many drawbacks, because the funding of public healthcare directly relates to state economy, hence the economic structure will be affected by the spending of public healthcare. If the spending of public healthcare keeps augment, the government will be forced to cut other expenses such as wage and health insurance (UK essay, 2013). The public healthcare is a most important issue in UK, so the spending of public healthcare occupied a big part in national budget approximately 107 billion pounds, however, education only 53 billion pounds and defence only 25 billion pounds. If the spending for the public healthcare keeps rising (NHS England, 2014), it will lead to the decrease of budget of education
