Ministries Schooling for Girls The preliminary proposal has the intent to develop an ethics plan for Ministries Schooling for Girls (MSFG). In the preliminary proposal, issues and situations will be address to serve primarily as guidance to remediate incumbents, thus, to evaluate possible issues that may arise in the process. The proposal includes: 1) an explanation of business purpose, 2) Statement and explanation of core values, 3) Identification of an explanation for social responsibility, and 4) Preliminary plans for regulatory compliance. All of these components are essential to develop a comprehensive ethics plan that avails the proposal. Thus, every employee should comply with requirements such as trainings and orientations, which help them, reinforce the reason why they work for MSFG. In essence, rewards and incentives to employees that comply with all the organization policies, and requirements, will be handed (quarterly), which is a way to monitor them. However, consequences for employees violating codes of conduct are clear to keep employees in alignment. Ministries Schooling for Girls is an institution that believes and reflects what it’s inculcated to each and every students. Therefore, the inclusion of staff and employees is important, as equal important is to share ideas that guide toward a good behavior while working for the institution. Some things change, some things stay the same. The National Education Association (NEA) adopted a code of ethics in 1975 (Strike & Soltis 2009, p. viii). While this code still upholds many concerns that educators face today, it is important to make sure that a code of ethics is a breathing document. It must adapt and change with the changing of time. Strike and Soltis (2009) reference the code of ethics quite regularly throughout the entire book. It is first introduced in full at the beginning of the book. Looking over the code, it is important to remember that much has changed since it was first adopted. While all of the code still applies, it is necessary to add to the code to make it acceptable for the twenty-first century.

The Code of Ethics for Educators is a group of standards that all educators, in the state of Georgia, must follow. These standard are put in place to ensure the well-being and safety of students, educators, and parents. As I reviewed the Code of Ethics for Educators, there were four ethical standards that I found most important; they are: Georgia Code of Ethics for Educators Standard 2: Conduct with Students, Georgia Code of Ethics for Educators Standard 3: Alcohol or Drugs, Georgia Code of Ethics for Educators Standard 6: Remunerative Conduct, and Georgia Code of Ethics for Educators Standard 7: Confidential Information.
