Models, Mobals, and Migration This about the future of the planet, there have been some leading scholars who express their view about what is going to happen to this planet. While some of the leading scientists have various ideas, all the ideas point to some time of destruction. These prediction are hazardous because they create fear but the spark debate as to where were headed as people. There are a couple of stages of global growth and decline, migration issues, and america and Europe is concerned with people migrating into their countries. us has about 12 million illegal immigrants called mobals, a lot of them come from mexico and a lot other boarders. Even though there is a lot of amount of immigrate, locals out number mobals. One of the
It is predicted that by 2100 we will have as many as eleven billion people in the world. Humans use many of the earth’s natural resources; water, wind, oils, etc. But the planet can only withstand so much. Countries knock down habitats to build cities, destroy animal populations to build homes, and abuse so much of what nature has to give us. It is very possible that all the things we use so much, can one day disappear, and then what will happen? With the populations rising at the rates they are rising no one can know for sure what will happen to our planet. For all we know, by 2100 the world could’ve been hit by an asteroid and the people who survived could be living in
The world has many years existing in this galaxy and every day we see that is changing more and more but not in a very good way that it can end in the extinction of the planet earth. “Earth Hasn’t Heated Up This Fast Since the Dinosaurs’ End” (Lavelle). Carbon is growing so fast in the atmosphere faster than in the past 66 million years since the dinosaurs went extinct (Lavelle). All the presidents hold a position of power that could change this big problem that the planet is having, behind this problem there is other problems that are causing a much bigger problem in all the country. “By year 2100, the average temperature will rise by 5.8 degrees as a result of global warming. The Arctic ice is melting rapidly. By 2040 the region is expected to have a completely ice-free summer, or even earlier. Since 1880, the average temperature has risen by 1.4-Fahrenheit degrees” (Rinkesh). Humans are the one in power of this planet, they are often making some decisions, but they do not know if that is going to hurt the planet. Also, is because humans are selfish. These decisions often include manipulating the system of other country, how they work, what products they can make, how to get benefit from that country, and etc. Also, taking control and/ or credit over other countries work. Some countries are taking very serious the Global Warming problem, so the other countries want a prove of how are they helping to fix this problem. Many countries have agreements with other countries that
The Earth itself is being neglected and abused by thoughtlessness and waste products of American Feed corporations. There is so much pollution that the atmosphere and Earth are being destroyed. This is a world hit by environmental disasters, the severity of which can only be read between the lines. There can only be synthesized clouds now that the atmosphere will not allow actual clouds to form and is not able to support natural weather patterns. This is a world where living creatures can no longer reproduce without assistance. And this is a world where startling
This global crisis is known as Global Warming. According to Baranski, global warming “is the current and projected increase in average temperature near the earth’s surface due to increased greenhouse gas levels in the atmosphere” in “Climate Change”. Many scientists have preformed studies, and have computer models that project the warming of the earth. These studies how that not only is the earth warming up, but man is causing this trend. Man’s use of fossil fuel in combustion engines in automobiles, heating and cooling of houses, converting coal into energy have all contributed the release of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere. This is known as greenhouse gas. The build up of greenhouse gases causes the global warming (Baranski).
Consider that Earth’s population is projected to rise to 10 billion by the year 2050. The current
As humans continue to live on Earth the climate is changing which is melting the Polar Ice Caps along with rising sea levels. Due to these changes to Earths Climate over the next millennia Earths lands may disappear and be taken over completely by the ocean. The human population is also constantly increasing and we need more space to survive. What can we do to survive? Where can we go? This film Deadliest Planets on YouTube will help us to explore our options.
Main Point 1: Us humans have overpopulated the earth and will continue to grow if actions aren’t took. We had a population approximate to 7.4 billion people living on earth in 2016. It takes about 40 years to increase the population by 3 billion. Earth can only hold 10 billion people max. Therefore, we will overpopulate the earth around 2040. We need to conquer another planet however, not all planets have the basic elements to sustain life.
What is in store for the future of our planet and what actions can we take to help it?
The Earth is slowly being assassinated, rotted from the inside out and suffocating by the hand of our own creations. This isn’t exactly new information. With Global Warming reaching headline popularity, and being almost universally accepted, one would think drastic measures are being taken to help stop the progress or even conceivably revert them. Regrettably, this isn’t always the case. Many people push against the reforms currently needed for considerable, painstaking development. But not everyone!
They arrived on Planet Blue and decided to reroute a meteor to crash into the planet, in order to kill off the dinosaurs so that humanity can rule. As history repeats itself, their miscalculations caused the meteor to come in too early, hit the wrong place, and trigger a century-long Ice Age. On Earth, humanity has destroyed the ecosystem numerous ways, ranging from increasing pollution levels, mainly responsible for global change, to the extinction of various species. However, most people believe that global warming is a fad that will repair itself in due time. The outcome of not considering the future, and how it will alter the world left after they have been long gone, causes humanity chooses to focus on the now, and not the metaphysical idea of what may be to come. This narrow focal point allows the harmful decisions to constantly reoccur, without humanity learning from
population increase, now approximately 1.7 percent a year will decline to a little less than 1 percent sometime between the years 2020-2025” (Ehrlich). The more people added on to this earth the more resources we will have to use
As a conclusion, climate change is getting more dangerous for SINCE? decades and its consequence for the planet and its habitants are awful: disappearance of many species, melting ice, coral bleaching, warming oceans, extreme heat and much more to come. Every citizen of the blue planet is capable, on his or her scale, of reversing this change by increasing investments in climate science and in research, by embracing green infrastructures and by supporting climate actions that are made all
Humans will destroy the earth if no one acts. Climate change is a serious problem that has been around for decades. The 21st century is special because of the technology and information available. Yet, people continue to ignore the overwhelming destruction happening to nature. Through many years, masses have begun to take responsibility and restore the planet. In time, the earth might be what it once was.
The earth is changing and with these changes come worries to our growing society. These concerns are due to things like rise in population, climate change, salinity and the amount of water that is used in our daily lives.
During the last 60 years the planet's well-being has been deteriorating . As Johan Rockstrom mentions in the video, we have reached a new geological era where humans have a huge impact on transforming the earth. Unfortunately, it isn't a pleasing transformation. Perhaps the need for change is good in a way, it leaves room for repair. Rockstrom speaks about four major factors which are: Human growth, Climate dilemma, Ecosystem dilemma, and surprise dilemma. These are all part of what he calls "The Quadruple Squeeze". Human population has now reached 7 billion and will continue to increase. This puts a tremendous weight on our poor planet. The more people there is the more damage we'll cause. We can’t just get rid of people and their ways.
