Description of Moon Landing Hoax On July 20th 1969 the American space program has landed the first human on the Moon. Until today conspiracies about the moon landings has been debated endlessly over that fact that the American space program in reality, landed Apollo 11 on the moon or was fabricated with the assistance of stage props. Due to the lack of evidence as to the moon landings being real, 45-50% of the Americans also believed that the space programs were a waste of time.
The following conspiracies made over the years are the waving flag, multiple light sources, lack of visible stars, and the “C” rock, lack of crater impact, the Van Allan radiation belt, duplicate backdrop and crossed layered hairs. It’s believed to be said that in

Vacuum in space creates no friction, means that you can’t hear sounds and there is basically no air. On the moon there is definitely no atmosphere so when the footage was captured the flag moved when it was placed on the moon’s surface. To prove this wrong would be that because of momentum and inertia, when the flag was removed from its cased and placed on the moon’s surface, the astronauts must have moved it down so that the flag stays in place, secured. By moving the flag must have caused the flag to bump against the surface of the moon therefore inducing the flag to …show more content…
When pictures were taken, there were no stars visible even when using the highest qualities of cameras. It’s not true because when the sunlight is reflected on the moon the surface of the moon becomes bright enough that the cameras aren’t good enough to pick up pictures of the stars. It’s also possible that the cameras being used must have had fast shutter speed making the background image dark or black. Imagine living the city it’s impossible to see any stars at night, but by moving away to the country side you would be able to capture a couple of stars. By moving away from the main light source, try traveling to the dark side of the moon, then it’s only possible to capture pictures of the
John F. Kennedy once said, "No nation which expects to be the leader of other nations can expect to stay behind in this race for space...We choose to go to the Moon in this decade and do the other things, not because they are easy, but because they are hard”. The main motive for this quote was to ensure that the United States wanted to beat out the Soviets in the space race. Ever since the Soviets tried to advance on the moon, the United States wanted to be the first successful nation to accomplish the first ever moon landing. At the time, the tension between the United States and the Soviets was very strong because the Cold War just ended and neither nation wanted to lose to each other in the space race. Just as the
Many people believe the moon landing never happened. The number one belief is that the photographic evidence is fake. The astronauts took thousands of pictures, each one perfectly exposed and sharply focused. Not one was badly composed or even blurred. In particular, there is one photo that is often mentioned, the photo of Neil Armstrong putting the American flag into the moon. The strange thing about this photo is that the flag is waving like it’s in the wind. “The obvious problem here is that there’s no air in the moon’s atmosphere, and therefore no wind to cause the flag to blow.” (Josh Fox, 2012). Theorists state that since the moon has no atmosphere, so if it was really on the moon there is no way the flag couldn't be waving
Conspiracy theories are everywhere. It seems that for every event in to have taken place in history, there is a group of individuals saying that it is a government conspiracy. There are conspiracy theories regarding the 9/11 attacks, presidential assassinations, Area 51, Jimmy Hoffa, the English crown and Elvis. The list is endless. In this paper we are going to discuss the moon landing conspiracy. Apparently there are people who believe the entire moon landing was a hoax. They believe that we did not actually land on the moon, but produced the event in a movie studio so that we would be able to beat Russia in the great “Space Race”. These people have taken all the evidence from the moon landing and analyzed ever aspect and tried to
On the Moon there is no wind, so therefore the flag should not ripple and wave in space. Conspiracy theorists believe that this correlates with the T.V. studio conspiracy; they believe that there was a breeze in the studio making the flag wave (Platoff). NASA planned out the entire situation of planting the flag into the Moon’s surface. NASA wanted to design a simple and easily assembled flagpole because the astronauts were wearing space suits. The flagpole was designed with a two-part telescoping pole kit with a telescoping crossbar.
However, moon landing photographs are the main argument for the Apollo conspiracy believers. The hundreds of photos from the moon landing have mistakes discovered on them, for example, in the pictures, the shadows are in different directions than in the correct alignment of the object reflecting a shadow. With the mistakes reveled in the photos projecting false shadows, has led the believers of the faked moon landing a conspiracy. Additionally, the photos and videos show there are no stars in the sky which is impossible and the stars not being in the sky is one of the most constant arguments accumulated with the moon landing. The cameras used on the Apollo mission were equipped with manual light filters which is similar to the human's eye pupil, and the white suits the astronauts wear must have a reflection from the sun and the moon's surface but they do not in the photos.
And why the Soviets (also in the space race to get to the moon) did not show any signs of protest? Every conspiracy theory about the Lunar Landing can be posed, but every single one has a logical retaliation, backed up by nothing but scientific fact.
Many accomplishments throughout the years, in the United States have formed our country to a nationalist society. On July 20th, 1969, the Mission Control Center in Houston, Texas received the call, “Houston”, which confirmed the landing of these three astronauts on the moon. Recently though, many discussions of the Apollo 11 mission have astonished thoughts of many Americans. Conspiracy theorists are looking at the Moon Landing as a hoax and one big set up that Americans were fooled into believing actually happened. In 1974, Bill Kasying wrote a book entitled We Never Went to the Moon:
If you notice in all the pictures that NASA has taken of the first moon landing, there are no stars in the sky. In July of 1969, many Americans
It wasn 't until I really sat down and thought about it that I realized the moon landing was questionable. As a kid I always thought it would be amazing to be an astronaut so the thought that maybe there is no real astronauts at all had me concerned. On July 20th 1969, the Apollo 11 with astronaut Neil Armstrong and his crew, guided by thousands of NASA technicians, supposedly landed in the surface of the moon. This landing at its time was considered the most amazing technological advancement in the history of mankind. The moon landing is something that everyone knows about but as it turns out about 20% americans and 50% or Ukrainians don 't believe the moon landing really happened, here 's why.
What if the first moon landing by America was all a hoax? Three American Astronauts named Neil Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin, and Michael Collins. These men flew on the Apollo 11 and are famous for being the first men to step on the moon. One of the biggest conspiracy theories is that the whole 1969 Moon landing was all faked and filmed in a studio in Hollywood, California. The Moon landing in 1969 supposedly did not happen and there is documentation evidence, experts testimony, and physical evidence to prove that it did not happen.
People believe that the American flag moving on the recordings from Apollo 11 is proof that the moon landing was faked. In the recording of Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin planting the American flag into the ground, the flag looks like it’s flapping in a breeze but since there is no atmosphere on the moon there’s no
The Apollo 11 mission of 1969 marks the biggest leap in technological advancements for humanity. Neil Armstrong is seen taking the first steps on the moon forever making his mark in humanity. However, theories surrounding the moon landing have come to light. Conspiracy theorists say NASA, the National Aeronautics Space Administration, have faked the Apollo 11 moon landing. Yet, present evidence can support the authenticity of the moon landing. Evidence such as photos, rock samples, technology, and computer monitoring support the moon landing. The moon landing of 1969 did happen.
Earth rocks are very abundant in these minerals and other minerals that thrive in the high temperatures. They are almost completely deprived of these types of elements. Moon Rocks don?t. Moon Rocks also contain small ball like pieces of glass. The main theory on how this happened is by Moon dust being heated to extremely high temperatures along with other minerals. The hot dust would form a small glass piece, and the other minerals would form the rest of the rock. Earth rocks do not have this feature. .
Was the moon landing a fake? How did we have the technology to send a rocket as well as people to the space? The footprint on the moon didn’t match that of Armstrong's boot, where’d this tread pattern left on the footprint come from? These are just some questions that are asked about the moon landing. Was it real or fake? You could research this topic on many different webpages, books, and personal opinions but will it ever bring us closer to the truth? Also can you trust what you read or heard from someone or a website. The moon landing was a hoax based on many different facts and accusations.
July 16th, 1969. It’s a peaceful morning at Cape Canaveral with pleasant temperatures and little wind. All is calm. Suddenly, a tremendous roar shatters the morning as the crew of Apollo 11 blast off toward the moon, riding the biggest rocket ever created. Burning 20 tons of explosive fuel a second, it propels Neil Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin, and Michael Collins into history. The spacecraft lands four days later on the moon. Millions watched as men took the first steps on a strange place 238,900 miles away, or 9 and ½ times around the earth. After placing America’s flag among the lunar rocks, the Apollo 11 crew lit their engines and headed for the small blue sphere we call home, splashing down safely in the ocean and completing Kennedy’s
