What is next? Is the question that haunts adolescents throughout high school and college. Therefore, today I will offer information on possible job opportunities in a few foreign countries. Given the nature of this paper, the audience who find it useful will be limited; furthermore, this essay is designed to provide young Americans who are considering searching for employment overseas in Europe. The career field that I am interested in is being a clinical dietitian. A clinical dietitian works in a hospital and uses medical nutrition therapy to help her patients maintain health. She may work with patients with chronic diseases that need a specialized meal plan. She may also examine the nutrition levels of her patients and determine what nutritional deficiencies they may have. The overall goal for a clinical dietitian is to maintain the health of her patients. However, issues may arise concerning this goal. The clinical dietitian will have to work hard and be determined to keep patients from losing health, especially those who are already malnourished. Issues develop regarding health maintenance when there is miscommunication between the dietitian and patient, refusal of treatment from the patient, and treatment of the patient with the wrong nutritional information.

My alternate career path is nursing. I think this would be a good career for me because in nursing you have to work with people and you help them, and I like to help people anyway I can. I didn’t pick nursing as my major because to be a nurse you have to go to school for four years and I didn’t want to do that, so I decided to do a degree that is only two years.

Social Work is a profession concerned with helping individuals, families, groups and communities to enhance their individual and collective well-being. I chose to seek a degree in this field because I find this to be a very rewarding career choice. To obtain a degree in a career that essentially makes a difference in people’s lives is extremely important to me. I have worked as a medical assistant for over 10 years, and although I love my job I would like to work closer with the people that I serve. I realize from working with people with intellectual disabilities that my passion lies with helping and assisting individuals. It takes a special person to work in social services because this is a field where advocating and assisting are a forte. I would like to obtain my Bachelors of Art in Social Work and work with children. After, I have worked in the field for at least a year I would like to continue postgraduate studies in lure of earning my master’s in social work. My ultimate goal is to obtain both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in social work and specialize in case management assisting both children and veterans.

My career choice is a Forensic Psychologist. Since I first figured what I wanted to be when I grew up, it either involved science, medicine, and law. I went from Surgeon to Scientist then to Lawyer. It always somehow involved the criminal field. So, I did more research on what I could assemble and I came to the conclusion that being a Forensic Psychologist was the best route for me to take. In my paper, I will be telling you more in depth information about my career choice, how my thoughts of my career choice relate to the information of my career, my plan to get to this career, and furthermore my future.

Since my time in my current career field I have seen many broken processes, some that are more severe than others. When processes are broken people can get hurt or even killed. This is why the most important concept for me in module 5 is Management by Example Active. This is the most important concept to me because of the severity of my career field. Within my job we handle and load live munitions on Aircraft’s on a daily basis. Not only do we perform this task while deployed but we do it at home around the civilians we want to protect. I agree when it comes to the new career field, which is full of technology. You have to have some kind of degree. A high school diploma is now considered unsatisfactory because things are getting more technical. A bachelor's degree is only satisfactory but not excellent. I believe with a master's we can achieve more in our designated field.

Everyone needs to develop skills that will help them in the future. Working to better ourselves, we help better our chances of more enlightening careers. I believe I have developed a certain few of these skills. While working at Ciddici's a pizza place here in downtown I proved such skills.

Picking a career is a tough decision for a teenager and that is very common. It is what you will likely do for the rest of your life so the decision is scary for most. My career choice, on the other hand, was easy. I have always enjoyed math and seeing things come together through my ideas and creativity, so engineering was a perfect fit.

The most appealing career field for me is professional, and to be exact the career I am most interested in is Mechanical Engineering. The reasons why I am interested in Mechanical engineering are that, I love to build things, design things, and piecing everything together to finish the ¨puzzle¨, and see the final product. But the three main reasons why the professional career field is appealing to me are enormous paychecks, many different types of work experiences, and it can help me make other lives easier and better.

Going into my junior year of high school, the dream of me going to college was always a goal of mine that was quickly turning into a reality. I was gaining scholarship offers to play at select universities and colleges to play basketball but one big question stood in my mind “What do I want to have a career in for the rest of my life, am I good at anything besides sports?” Not knowing which way to turn for ideas I began conversing with teachers, coaches, family, and administrators about different fields and even took a career personality test. All in search of some direction for the next step in my life. Plenty of different ideas came about but none that I felt that I could really make a difference in and love to do.

One of the most important decisions in my life is to choose a career that I will enjoy and find interesting for many years ahead. It is important that I have the ability to provide well for myself and future family. In an effort to stay current in the marketplace, I am committed to keeping an open mind as career paths change, and dedicating time for continued education. I believe that my career choices for the future greatly depend upon the knowledge that I have of myself, information regarding my career options, testing field work, and making deliberate decisions now. The career that intrigues me is elementary education, which is kindergarten through 8th grade. I am engrossed in this career because I have little siblings that I had to teach them things like reading, math, and writing properly. Also, I just love, love, love little kids and to watch them grow. My personality goes with this career because I am a very kind and considerate person and I like people. My values go with this career because I like having the defiance and the opportunity to do my work in new ways and with independence and diversity. Also, I like feat which is having the feeling that what I do in my work is crucial and making a contribution. Lastly I value my workplace and having the pleasure of working in a satisfying, attractive work space where the supervisors and co-workers are supportive and friendly. I expect that being a teacher at a school will have all these conditions. Kindergarten and elementary school teachers work in public or private schools. Seeing students develop new skills and learn information can be very rewarding.

A lawyer is a professional person authorized to practice law. They defend or prosecute people for the crimes they have committed. (dictionary.com) I am very out spoken and believe in fighting for what I want or think is right.
