Usually when someone asks me "what is your favorite food?" My immediate reply is food. I know that sounds like I 'm trying to be funny but it 's true. I enjoy such a wide variety of food that to narrow it down to "this is my favorite food that I would be happy eating for the rest of my life," it 's nearly impossible. So I have decided to talk about one of my many favorite foods: sandwiches. One of the things I like the most about sandwiches is that they can be so versatile. You could do Vietnamese and have bahn-mi or Mexican and have a torta. Or, settle for the old comfort of a peanut butter and jelly.
Just like it is impossible to narrow down a favorite food, it 's hard for me to narrow down a least favorite food as well. I 've always been pretty easy to please in the food department. There aren 't many things that I don 't like. That being said there are a couple of things that I have tried and found to be disgusting. Durian definitely tops that list. Durian is a fruit native to South East Asia. It is distinctive by the fact that it 's covered on spikes and its strong pungent odor. The odor has been described as rotten onions, turpentine, and even raw sewage. Personally, I 've always felt it smelled and tasted like dirty socks. I have tried it several times in several different ways, and it 's just not something that I can handle.
I would have to say the best cook I know is probably my husband. I like to make jokes that I married him for his skills in the kitchen. It 's
