The main purpose of this law is to prevent ISPs from executing abusive business practices that harm education and promote censorship. Without net neutrality ISPs would have control over the internet and what the consumers see. What this means is that companies can pay ISPs to be part of their service, and the companies that can’t pay will be slowed down.
