CHAPTER 1
THE PROBLEM AND ITS BACKGROUND
I. Introduction
The word "noise" is derived from the Latin word "nausea" meaning seasickness. Noise can be defined as an unwanted or undesired sound.
Decibel is the standard unit for measurement of sound. Usually 80 db is the level at which sound becomes physically painful.
With overly populated schools and the increase of average classroom sizes, many students suffer from noise pollutants that can be found inside and nearby from their schools. Larger classrooms inherently breed more noisy atmospheres, and the issue of noise pollution can negatively impact a student’s academic experience. However, classroom size is not the only factor that contributes to noise pollution

Noise pollution is a disturbance to the human environment that is escalating at such a high rate that it will become a major threat to the quality of human lives. Noises in all areas, especially in urban areas, have been increasing rapidly. And the outcome varies on how we act on this kind of situation. Even animals were affected in this kind of problems, certain reports and findings had been gathered. Human-induced noise pollution is one of many factors contributing to the depletion of wildlife populations. Laboratory studies and limited field research have uncovered these problems and the results keep us blinded. Some animals that are adversely affected with problem behavioral effects, which vary greatly between species and noise characteristics, resulting in, for example, abandonment of territory and lost reproduction. But human clamor doesn’t just affect animals. Because many animals also pollinate plants or eat or disperse their seed, , certain studies were conducted and researcher found out that because plants cannot move they just rely on birds and other animals, those animals that were affected by noise pollutants derive the effect to plants and these results to plants to pollinate slowly or even die.
V. OBJECTIVES OF THE STUDY The following objectives were formulated by the researchers: 1. To inform learners & readers the importance of listening skills in the school. Also, to
As a general rule, the classes are small with a lead teacher and at least one support teacher at all times. If a student is assigned to a self-contained classroom, the student will usually spend a majority of their day in a self-contained classroom. Some students simply need a smaller group in which to learn and thrive, moreover, some students need the extra attention to grow and succeed. “Self-contained classes are not inherently non-academic, and can be a great place for kids who need space or quiet beyond that which is feasible in general education. For some children, the day to day noise of even a quiet classroom, even with appropriate accommodations, can interfere with learning” (Landmeier, 2017). Although both necessary and beneficial to many students, the self-contained classroom is not without its
Findings from a recent Ofsted report have shown that low-level disruption in the classroom is causing pupils to potentially lose up to one hour of learning each day, and that this may have a detrimental impact on their life chances (Ofsted, 2014). Difficulties managing behavior is a commonly reported source of stress and burnout among teachers, and is resulting in a substantial number leaving the profession within 5 years (Ford et al, 2012). Disruptive behaviour is not only stressful for teachers, but it can be unsettling for pupils, can hinder pupils enjoyment of school and can prevent pupils from fulfilling their potential (Gorard, 2010). Although there has never been a time when all pupils behaved well, all of the time (Viser, 2005), it is important that teachers have a good understanding of the challenges they may face in the classroom, and are equipped with effective strategies to help them manage classroom behaviour. After all, effective behaviour management and discipline in schools is a crucial to ensuring academic success and a positive and safe learning environment (Luisellia et al, 2005).

Sound is very much important to our daily live, but noise is not. Noise is used as an annoying sound. Most of us every time hear the sounds in everyday life, likewise the traffic, the television, loud music, people talking on their phone and even pets shouting in the middle of the night. A lot of these things have become a part of the culture and hardly annoys us. Moreover, noise is made by big trucks, household gadgets, vehicles, motorbikes on the road, loud speakers and jet planes and helicopters’ flying over cites, etc. However, airplanes have been an effective noise pollution which the community members living in the suburban nearby the airport are disturbed by the jet noise that planes are making while departing and arriving to

Air and water pollution is one of the biggest problems the environment faces today. It is one of the highest leading cause of death. Air and water pollution has been affecting the environment for many years causing many diseases among people especially children. I will study and examine the early childhood growth between two countries which are Australia and Tanzania. I will discuss how clean and polluted their air and water is for each country. Their access to clean water. I will also explain the effects that can occur when water is contaminated. How children are affected when they don 't have access to primary essentials and how each country and their environment and living condition might threatened a child 's life.
Pollution is the introduction of harmful substances or products into the environment. It is a major problem in America and as well as the world. Pollution not only damages the environment, but damages us also. It has cause many problems ranging from lung cancer to the greenhouse effect. It is all among us but we continue to live in our own filth. What is the reason behind this flawed logic? In this paper I will examine the problems and solutions for this issue.

Pollution has become a major issue over the years because it contaminates the Earth’s environment and affects human health. While some environmental pollution is a result of natural causes such as volcanic eruptions, most is caused by human activities. The increase of various types of pollution has made cancer pollutant more prevalent among the people, raising the risk of getting cancer. After being exposed to theses pollutants, the effects may be immediate or delayed. Some of the delayed effects, due to the exposure, can go unnoticed for many years. Another major issue that pollution creates is the tremendous cost for preventing and cleaning it up. However, we can not regulate the pollutants to the extent where there are no more possible
