First off, I’d like to start off by saying thank you. You guys reaching out to me shows just how passionate of a squad you all are. My time at Barker began a tradition of success, and I’m glad to see that even though I have left, the team still wants that championship atmosphere. This is all on you, your desire, your work ethic, and I am proud of you for seeking how to achieve the next level. Because of you, Barker will continue to be the dominant powerhouse in New York State small school distance running.
I’d like to start off by saying what this summer program is and isn’t. This IS a supplement to help you improve on what you think may be missing from your normal training. This IS NOT a replacement to your normal training. I am NOT your coach, but instead am simply a runner who can speak for the small changes that helped me make the leap from high school to D1 cross country. Anything and everything I do goes first through Mr. D. If you do not trust in him or the training he assigns, I have no reason to help you with your training. At my time running at UB, the number one rule I learned is to trust in your training. Doubting the training lowers your desire to perform, loses respect of the sport, and ultimately crushes your potential to be great.
I am not guaranteeing success. Nothing is perfect and

Everybody usually likes to talk about how many miles they got in last week. While working for some, I don’t believe mile assignments are the best way to train when trying to start up summer training. Doing miles, you can either push too hard to finish quickly, or suffer for a long time when your body clearly needs rest. Minutes allows you to run according to feel. If you feel good, you can push for 30 minutes. If your body is exhausted, then run a slow jog for 30 minutes. Not every day should be a slow jog, but it is important to measure yourself and be honest as to whether you need a recovery run or if you feel lazy (and trust me, they feel the
Good morning ma'am, yesterday we were talking about possibly having LtCol. Richardson taking over Cadet Commander for the summer. Since, I could not stay long because Dominic was waiting I did not get a chance to discuss with you the idea I had after the meeting.
“A black belt is a white belt that never quit.” Starting out with a white belt symbolizing purity and a blank slate, martial artists train their body and their mind to work in harmony. The hard work and determination reflects on the color of their belt. Starting from pure white, the belt is dirtied with sweat, blood, and tears until the belt turns into a dirtied black color. In March of 2009, this speech was given to me and 23 other brown belts during our black belt recognition ceremony. The instructor reminded us that as martial artists, we are taking the next step in reaching our full potential. However, receiving a black belt does not mean that you are a master; it serves as a physical representation of one’s dedication and one who is dedicated
Purpose: After listening to my speech, the audience will be more educated on Texas’s roadside attractions, as well as relate to the sites I will discuss in my presentation.
1. This informative speech on “The Cause of Homelessness “is very Inform able and worth listening to, because in today’s economy it could be you or me. Some seem to think homelessness is choice. I find this speech relevant to the world I live in today, due to the high unemployment rate, declining job market, and the economic hardships that families are enduring. This topic is not a broad one, but yet can be spoke of in depth due to the fact I see many homeless people but never thought it would be me until I seen a family friend who has lost everything, this is what made me more aware that it is not just a choice and any day it could be me. So when you see
Laughter relates to positive thinking. The positive thinking helps us to improve our immune system and become healthier. It helps in removing the negative thoughts from our mind and not letting our immune system become worse further.
* But at the end of the fight the students would always get into trouble and usually so would the people who basically egged it on.
Transition signal: In conclusion, the next time you fill up your gas tank might not be cheaper, but at least you will know why you are paying more for gas.
In one of the most watched Ted talk videos, “The Key To Success- Grit,” recorded in May 9 2013, the speaker Angela Lee Duckworth explains how the strongest performers in their fields were typically not the ones with the highest IQ’s, but the ones with the most amount of Grit. What is that? Angela defines Grit to be the passion and perseverance for a long-term goal and to go through with it with no quitting. She then goes on and talks about the studies and their results relating to pure Grit being the answer. Although her her speech is moving and brings hope to those who don’t think they can do much with a low IQ, her reasoning seems to not carry enough evidence.
Tesla is taking a different approach while designing their self-driving cars. Tesla has introduced the computer vision-based vehicle detection system instead of using the traditional radar. The new Tesla cars contain eight surround cameras which are capable to see 360 degrees around the car. The main forward camera covers 150m of distance. These autonomous cars can see any object within 250 meters of it’s range. Tesla autonomous cars have the ultrasonic sensors and a forward-facing radar which are very advanced technology and they help the car to see through heavy rain and fog. This technology will help prevent road accidents during extreme weathers. Another impressive addition of the new Tesla cars is the neural net for visibility.
The summer, a time of warm weather, long weekends, friends and holidays. It is also the time where many of us put down the junk food, get off the couch and come out of winter hibernation to enjoy the outdoors. It’s often not long after playing your first game of beach volleyball or running to catch the bus when you realise that your heart is racing, sweat is pouring down your face and you are breathing heavily. As you look up and watch everyone still running around you or as your stepping onto the bus only one thought is running through your mind “WOW I am out of shape!”. Now I am not here today to try and convince you to get into better shape. Starting a fitness routine is a commitment that an individual needs to decide on for
Create a 5-6 minute presentation using PowerPoint visuals. Make sure your PowerPoint follows the guidelines discussed in class. The purpose of the presentation should be to inform the audience. I. (Gain attention and interest) Many of us have encountered 3D technology at one point in our lives such as the red and blue comics usually found at the back of magazines, or a have watched a 3D movie at IMAX. It is with no doubt that, we all find this technology to be a fascinating one.

What he does is looked at as something not important, but it should be looked at important. About seventy five percent
: I can’t remember any things well while I thought something happened to me, I feel like I ever seen something but I don’t know when it was or where it was. And I also feel like I’ve been somewhere but I don’t know when it was. It’s only like I ever do that but I unable to really remember when and how the earlier experience occured in detail.
ii. However, for many of us, face-to-face communication seems to be a dying art – replaced by text messaging, e-mails, and social media. Human communication and interactions are shaped by available technologies
