After research paper is finished, I have learned a lot about myself. There are a lot of positives and negatives about myself. One of the positives is that I was able to turn in my research paper on time and print it out. One thing I learned a lot was the Georgia O’Keeffe. O’Keeffe is a great female artist who accomplish her goal as artist. She won many reward and drawn many paintings. She is one of the artist who doesn’t quit to paint until she died. There are more negatives than positives. One thing I had difficulty on was that I didn’t know how to cite a work from website. So, I used the google to find any work cited engine. Then, I finally found the machinecitation.net to help mine citation. All of the cited work have no publisher
Double negatives are seen as bad or evil nowadays in our advancing society —as generally, they should. We’ve all been taught to avoid phrases like “She didn’t like no one,” or “He said nothing,” because they are unwieldy and confusing and in fact mean the opposite (“She likes everyone,” “He said something”) of what they appear to.
Taking someone’s words and using them without a proper citation is a problem. Without being taught the correct way, this problem is not going to correct itself and will continue to become a bigger problem. There are major consequences for plagiarising, but these can be avoided with a simple citation. Tying together the definition of plagiarism, reasons for using documentation, and an explanation of MLA 8 and APA citations will all be brought together. Learning what kind of citation, and what needs a citation is a very important concept in becoming a successful writer. Citing a source correctly will save you time and problems.
With writing my review essay of A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie’s album The Bigger Artist. The essay took some time to write because of the research I needed to gather. In this essay I used more citations and quotes. I made mistakes the mechanics in writing the quotes. This was the first essay in which we used sources, so it was challenging to create my own ideas but I was able to do it. Writing this essay improved my knowledge of mechanics in citations and quotations.

For the MWA three assignment, I spent a good amount of time researching and gathering information on my assigned person named Callie McGinnis. For example, on Thursday, October 20 and Tuesday, October 25, I spent one hour and 30 minutes in the CSU Archives researching and gathering information from the vertical files of Callie McGinnis to learn who she was, what she did, and how she impacted Columbus State University. In addition, I gathered information based on what she did that may be negatively viewed today. Furthermore, I wrote down every source I gathered information from such as the medium, the author, the date, the year, and any other information I needed to complete the works cited page for the assignment. However, when I was in class
The first paper is due by Monday, April 9, 11:59 p.m. You MAY use sources outside of the Liberty Search Engine (and are encouraged to do so). Also you may use scholarly books and not just journal articles. You should avoid using generic websites that do not appear scholarly in nature. A good rule of thumb is that if a website does not have an author, it is not a good source. Good online material has also usually been published in print at some point. Google Scholar and JSTOR are great places to search, as well as the online encyclopedias I've shown you. Always feel free to send me an email if you have questions about sources or formatting.
“The writing in this essay is my own work. If I have used outside sources, I have acknowledged them through correct documentation.”

3) Compose a formal MLA Works Cited of all texts you read/viewed, and those you consulted to figure out info on genre and publication (not just a list of links).
I have learned that you don’t start the sentence with citing the source, instead I should have lead into my citation with a short, simple phrase, it works like an intro for it.
When doing my research, I learned about Peter Crouch who is a famous soccer player in England. I never knew there was a famous person with my same last name. In writing this essay, I learned how important it is to have a works cited page and parenthetical documentation to show where the information I received came from and to show that I did not plagiarize. The next time I do a research project, I will start out by organizing my information and gather my research before starting my
During my research, I learned multiple new concepts and tools that will help me with future papers. The part of the paper that I think helped me the most was the Story of My Search part because it helped me keep track of what I had already searched. Because I had what steps I did written down, it helped me focus my search and narrow my results to what I was really looking for. I also learned more about EBSCO than I previously had known. I had used EBSCO only one other time, which was in my dual-credit speech class. When I had used it previously, I didn’t get to know the different tools, including the export and cite options. Also during my research, I found out that a lot of work goes into a research paper and that it may take a long time to

After reading the feedback from my instructor, I realized that my in-text citations need more than just a tweak here or there. When I introduced my topic about Harambe’s death and described the incident, I did not know what the writing handbook instructed to do with online sources, therefore, resulting in an incorrect citation. The writing book claimed that when an online source has an author, MLA prefers that you introduce the author into the sentence. I had cited the source by putting the author’s name in parenthesis at the end of the material derived from that website. As I was proofreading for my final draft, I made a conscious effort to introduce the author’s name preceding to the information from that source. Instead of citing the author’s name at the end of the sentence I introduced the author’s name accordingly as the writing book demonstrated (“My World’s Fire”
When you put your ideas on paper, your instructors want to distinguish between the building block ideas borrowed from other people and your own newly reasoned perspectives or conclusions. You make these distinctions in a written paper by citing the sources for your building block ideas. Providing appropriate citations will also help readers who are interested in your topic find additional, related material to read—in this way, they will be able to build on the work you have done to find sources.
