In her article “Gendered Racial Violence and Spatialized Justice,” Sherene H. Razack explores the murder of Pamela George; the way that her murderers’ sentences were lessened because of a variety of factors pertaining to Ms. George’s life; and the fact that the murderers were young, white, and middle-class men.
In health care, the nurse holds many responsibilities. The nurse must care for a patient by following the physician’s orders, assessing labs and objective data, in addition to discerning needs for the patient discharge plan. The discharge plan should be initiated soon after the patient is admitted to the hospital. The nurse, along with the interdisciplinary team, will assess the patient needs for returning home, with the nurse providing much of the discharge education. The purpose of this discussion is to choose two learning objectives for the Shadow Health patient Tina Jones. I will describe the teaching methods I would use, discuss how I would evaluate Tina’s learning, and list any possible barriers to learning. I will also relate this to
Coming to TWU (Texas Woman’s University) this fall for college was a good decision on my part. Not only are the staff and faculty helpful but they are also there when you need them. When I came on move in day I learned that my LLC (Living Learning Community) had a PA (Peer Advisor) and an RA (Resident Assistant). Rachel (the PA) was and is always there when I need her and had never let me down, and even though it is her job as a PA you can tell that she really does enjoy what she does and likes helping others.
Jeannette Walls, the second oldest child, was chosen to be interviewed next. Jeannette Walls is a tall, skinny, pale, orange haired thirteen year old girl with large scar across her body. Jeannette got this scar from an incident when she was three years old and living in trailer park in southern Arizona. During this time, Jeannette was left unattended and allowed to cook hot dogs and her dress caught on fire, leading to her to receive severe burns that required a skin graft (Walls 9-10). Jeannette Walls, being only three years old at the time, was far too young to be left unattended and allowed to use a stove, which results in her receiving severe burns. This blatant neglect from her parents shows their irresponsibility, due to the fact that they allowed they left a three year old child unattended and allowed her to get into an extremely dangerous situation that could have resulted in the death of the child.
This appeal involves a dispute regarding the denial of appellant’s, Pamela Brunner’s (“Brunner’s”) request for accidental disability retirement benefits (“accidental disability”) from appellee, the Maryland State Retirement and Pension System (“RPS”). Brunner contends that the RPS erred in denying her accidental disability after an injury she sustained while working for Montgomery County Public School System. Nearly five years after her injury, Brunner filed an application to receive accidental disability. The medical board of the RPS recommended approving Brunner for ordinary disability, but denied her application for accidental disability. The medical board’s decision was approved by the trustees of the RPS. Brunner appealed the trustees’
Becoming a licensed practical nurse is a rewarding job that allows a nurse to care for other people and it has a rewarding salary, while the disadvantages is the lack of sleep and the multiple hours that a nurse has to spend on his/her feet. Cathy Parker is a licensed practical nurse and also a clinical director at Bay Springs After Hours Clinic in Bay Springs,M.S. She has been a licensed practical nurse for twenty-eight years and a clinical director for thirteen years. Cathy has several reasons why she chose her career to be a licensed practical nurse. She says the main reason she chose to be a nurse is because one night at church a little boy had cut his arm and as she bandaged him up God called her to be a nurse. Her second reason she became a nurse is her love for people and wanting to see others properly cared for. As she cared for her elderly grandmother when she was a teenager it made her feel helpful to see someone smile while being cared for. Her favorite part of her job is to see someone who has been in pain, smile after being cared for.

Anderson was able to identify the strengths and weaknesses while working in her position. For her weaknesses, two major weaknesses include identifying boundaries and dual relationships with the students. Since most of the young ladies that are in the facilities are victims of rape and drug abuse, you must be careful on the way you word things and interact with the ladies. What may seem innocent to you may bring back a bad memory to the young lady. Also, it’s difficult for her to discipline a student for something and then have to counsel them. For example, she would discipline client for cursing and then an hour later she will try to communicate with the client. It’s usually difficult to get the student to talk once she is mad at her. Yet there is much strength that she’s gained while working at Foundations. Ms. Anderson realizes that she’s making a true difference in the students’ lives and she enjoys her

Students often recognize the faculty members that assisted and encouraged us throughout our education. However, we often forget about the staff that assist us almost daily. Mrs. Debra McCauley, Administrative Assistant HAHS, has assisted me during my time in the HCAP program and I do not believe we as student show her our appreciation enough. Mrs. McCauley is always a present and pleasant face to see in the HCAP department. Mrs. McCauley makes it her business to her students informed and she works hard to complete tasks for all in a time
In 2005 a group of citizens including Dr. Abdullah and I challenged the high ground water deliberately propandize. Harold Willis (RIP) who lead the defeat of the Meteropolitan Water takeover provided evidence that San Bernardino had no extra water for outsiders. And for those who are interested click on my personal website: deanaadams.com and find the topic on Lakes and Streams. Now, Susan Longville desires to silence and take away our voting rights. First, no idea what would happened to 2000 people in 2005. Secondly, no idea of the outcome pertaining to duct taped citizens hoping leaders would serve well. I apologize, this city has proving that interest is for a few not for us. Come and ask her questions about the Lakes and Streams and find

Great post, I found the case about Pamela Johnson to be very interesting. Based on the information that you provided many could argue that Stephens was simply defending himself. Personally I don’t believe Stephens did anything wrong it seem he was simply doing his job trying to stop miss Johnson from entering an area where she was prohibited and Mr. Stephens was defending himself from Mrs. Johnson when he hit her with his radio. Maybe he shouldn’t have used his radio to hit her, but then again if she wants to say that there is no difference between a privately employed special officer with full police power and a regular Chicago police officer then should be charged with assaulting a police officer.
