My Personal Qualities
Over the course, I have learned that all people are unique and have their own personal traits and qualities. One person does not just simply fall into one category, but various categories. What is beautiful about all of us is that we all have diverse personalities, traits and qualities. I have learned that we should be proud of and embrace these unique qualities of ours.
As a perfectionist, I like to present my things beautifully and creatively, and it is clearly seen on my collage. I appreciate beautiful things and this is why I got beauty/aesthetics as one of my highest totals on the values survey. On my collage, I put a picture of a microscope, with the circular flask and test tubes. I also

I know and I have been told that I am a kind and sympathetic person, because I love to help people and put a smile on their faces. Even when someone is being rude, I try to "kill them with kindness" in return. I used the quote: "Beauty isn't about having a pretty face. It is about having a pretty mind, a pretty heart, and most importantly, a beautiful soul". I chose to use this quote because I adore it and I go by it. What matters most is in the inside, not on the outside. I think people sometimes, even me, get too caught up and try too hard to look beautiful, but they don’t focus on personality.
A) I expected to get artistic, creative and investigative as my results on surveys that I took, because I already knew I had these traits as a part of my personality. However, the results from my learning styles survey were a little surprising to me. I got visual as my highest total score, while kinesthetic and auditory were almost balanced out scores. The reason why I was a little surprised was that last year, I took a survey to figure out my learning style, and I got both auditory and visual learner. The results have their little differences, but that shows people do change over time. Learning styles can be learned and strengthened.
I learned plenty of things from my results. My values-which I didn't see clearly-are now clear, and I found out the little unique things that make up my personality. From my personality survey, I am mostly artistic,
Of all the forms of literature, the most interesting might be the fairytales, or the science fiction thriller about robots. However, there lacks the sense of truth, in a way blocking the reader from true connection with the story. Memoir is real, memoir is true, and memoir can range from any end of the ocean in structure and theme.
Secondly, the teacher gave us a test for my learning style. The results show, my learning style is visual. I was not surprising in the result because I know myself very well. I love to watch the video and we read books to help me on study. There are unique characteristics of Visual personality As Spanella T (for studay.com
The learning style survey reflected that I am a strong visual learner. The survey was extremely accurate and has a strong correlation as to why certain subjects are easier for me to be successful in than others. For example, math is easier for me to grasp than literature based courses. Mathematics is comprised of complex formulas and diagrams. Explicit modeling must be done by the instructor (solving problems on the board and drawing diagrams) in order to effectively teach math. This is a direct contrast to literature instruction.
I’m a great learner. I am an open-minded learner. I know everyone is different and they like or do different things. I don’t like when people make other people do like the same thing. If someone says something like that you have to like dogs you don’t have to. I believe we are all equal and have the same rights. I don’t believe that If someone is famous and they get pulled over that they can get away with it, but if I get pulled over I don’t get away with it.
After taking the learning styles and study strategies quiz, I received the results of 50% tactile, 25% Auditory, and 25% visual learner. I would strongly agree with these results because I am a
I always had a strong interest in a career in the healthcare. I am basically a caring person and health care profession would provide me with the great opportunities for contributing towards well being of human being. The profession of physician assistant would suit my nature and enable me to obtain a greater degree of job satisfaction. With this aspiration and a great interest in Science I did a degree in Biomedical Science. Recently I came to know about a health care career as physician assistant. As I read more about this career and dwelled further into it, I realised by pursuing this career I would be able to care for others and be involved in diagnosis and management of patients. I have also comprehended that this career will provide
When reviewing the learning style quiz and then answering the questions in the questionnaire. I found that the results from Educationplannner.org identified my dominant learning style as visual, with a high percentage of sixty-five. Also, the results stated that I have a ten percent as tactile style and twenty-five percent as auditory. The ten questions within the quiz uncovered my dominant learning style. Equally important the results from the questionnaire explained the best practices from a person with a visual learning style should be doing while studding. All thing considered I found the results from the quiz to be helpful.
The results of the learning styles quiz reinforced what I already knew about myself, however, some results were surprising. My scores were pretty high concerning logical mathematical learning, but surprisingly low in musical. I always like to think of creative ways to tackle hard problems, which explains my love of puzzles and mysteries. However, I love listening to music, even though I never tried to write a song. Also, my scores were low for bodily kinesthetic and naturalistic. When I was younger, I did play a lot of sports, unfortunately I never was a good dancer. In regards to my being naturalistic, I can’t dispute the findings, even though every year I try to grow a little garden. The other categories I average
(Learning Style Inventory and Learning Style Scales) and I agree with that results because I get the same results about my Learning Styles is Visual because that indicated I prefer using images, pictures, color, and maps to organize information and communicate with others.
Self assessment is a process in which you examine yourself in attempt to discover and learn more about yourself. Your likes, dislikes, behaviors, attitudes and habits can be found during this process. You can use the discoveries to your advantage by accepting or changing strengths and weaknesses. I plan on using this course to enhance my personal skills to become a better student and find success in earning my Bachelor of Arts degree at Ashford University in Social Science. Self Assessment is the first step in my successful future.
Just thought I would point that out before any misconceptions were made regarding the results. According to the “Personality Spectrum” there are four areas that “define” an individual’s personality. Thinker, Organizer, Giver, and Adventurer. Here’s what I scored for all four areas: Thinker: 24, Organizer: 23, Giver: 17, and Adventurer: 16. Now I’m not an expert therefore I won’t even bother trying to explain those results in great detail. I will however tell you the basic information provided on pg. 68 of the Keys To Success: Building Analytical, Creative, and Practical Skills textbook, Thinker: Solving problems; Developing models and systems; Analytical and abstract thinking. Organizer: Responsibility, reliability; Neatness, organization, attention to detail; Comprehensive follow-through on tasks. Giver: Successful, close relationships; Making a difference in the world; Negotiation; Promoting peace. Adventurer: Courage and daring; Hands-on problem solving; Active and spontaneous style. (Note: this basic information is as stated basic, therefore not all possibilities are
I grew up a young man with a opportunity to excel in a family owned business that was based on hard work. For my father never having a formal education seemed to work fine. This mind set bled down to the next generation. I truly thought that hard work and learning what I needed to run that business from him would be all I need but in October of 2004 all that changed. The 25 year old company was no more and I was not only out of a job, career and inheritance but I did not have the education to keep myself employed at the same level. I have the technical skills to do my job well, l however I am missing the educational portion that I feel will be a long term benefit for not only myself but also my family. Finishing what I had started years
After completing this I am still not completely sure that I have learned much about myself except for maybe one attribute. I am always skeptical about these kinds of surveys as I am very analytical and tend to overanalyze the questions. I have also found that I generally put lower scores than a lot of people I know on these types of tests. I tend to be a little too judgmental of myself so that may or may not have skewed the results. However I will give my input on the results anyway and hopefully have come away having learned something. Another note is that I have not rounded off my scores as to leave the results more accurate than they would otherwise be.
After completing the online learning style self-assessment and analyzing my results, I have noticed that I’m a fairly balanced person on the two dimensions of the scales. I scored 1 towards being an active learner and a reflective learner. This means that I prefer learning by being physically active, equally to sitting and thinking about the matter quietly. I tend to prefer working alone and with groups depending on the type of work that I’m required to complete. I scored 1 towards the sensing learning style on the sensing and intuitive scale. This means that I don’t really favor any of them and that I am fairly flexible with both. I tend to learn facts when possible and also like discovering possibilities and relationships between certain topics. I tend to have an equal preference when it comes to learning practically and carefully, in comparison to working fast and being more innovative. I scored 1 towards the visual learning style on the visual and verbal style scale. This means that I tend learn easier visually by seeing pictures, diagrams and demonstrations similarly to writing and listening to explanations. I also scored 3 towards the global learning style on the sequential and global scale, which was not very similar to my other results. It is still considered fairly balanced and that I don’t really have a preference over the other. On that scale, I
There are many personal characteristics that can affect a person as an individual and his professional success, namely openness, ability to learn and adapt etc. These personal characteristics can sometimes make a person successful and sometimes doesn’t. As I spend more and more time as a professional, I perceive that there are few characteristics that are essential for professional success: namely ambitious, creative and adaptable. These characteristics come out in many different ways. Have you set your goals? Have you decided the path you have to take to pursue your goal? What are the sacrifices you can do to achieve your ambition? How much can you think out of the box to resolve a particular issue or bring new idea to the table? How
