There are multiple reasons for wanting to join student staff, including leadership opportunities, financial support and of course, helping others. As a student staff member, I would earn leadership experience and skills such as team work and would be more involved in campus activities. This opportunity would allow me to expand on my communication and leadership skills while also proving me with financial support that would make my education a lot more affordable. Since I am a DACA recipient, I am not able to receive federal aid such as FAFSA or student loans, the only way to continue affording my education is through scholarships and jobs such as this one. However, it is not only about what it will offer me, but what I can offer others
As a student affairs practitioner I believe I am a cornerstone of the higher education experience. I have made it my mission to help students be the best version of themselves for the benefit of not only them, but of society at large. I work to help create not only educated students, but also engaged members of a global society.

Why I want to attend UNC Wilmington is because college has always been a very prominent milestone in my life. Ever since I was young, I was yearning to learn more about college and what I could accomplish there and how I could expand my educational horizons. I never found the perfect college, despite years of searching. A few years ago though, I did find my perfect college. It was UNCW. After stepping onto the campus, I immediately felt like I was at home. It was a second nature to be there, pass the buildings, and walk with the students. I could see myself sitting with a group of friends, studying on a Friday night, or taking part in clubs and activities that I could have never dreamed of. UNCW also grabbed my attention geographically as
I seek to join Teach For America because I want to make a difference. Living overseas has shown me that there is true poverty in the world. This poverty still exists in America as well. I believe that no one should come to school hungry, that each child should get the individualized attention they need, and that the inequality between the rich and poor students should not exist. If the next generation gets the teachers and schools they deserve, we can fix these issues as a nation, then begin to try to help the rest of the world.
I am interested in attending UNCW first and foremost because they offer the Sports Medicine Program that I am interested in. I was born in WIlmington and I like the idea of going to college in my hometown to be near the beach and my family. My mom attended UNCW and is very proud of the education that she received. I have a cousin that recently graduated from UNCW, so it would be great to keep the legacy going. Growing up in Wilmington allowed me the opportunity to participate in the Little Seahawks Program as a kid, attend numerous basketball games and to participate in camps that were offered on campus. My family loved volunteering for the Leon Brogden Tournament, when it was held at UNCW. I even got to play in that tournament one year
I have chosen to become a teacher because I believe that education is the center of a country’s development process and prosperity. I want to be an educator to play an effective role in my society’s revival. Besides, I have always dreamed to be a teacher; it is a passion, which I truly have since I was young. The strong teaching motivation, which I have is derived from the deep belief that teachers can make a big difference in their students’ lives. In addition, I believe that teaching is a noble profession, which should be taken seriously. I know that being a teacher is never easy; it comes with high responsibilities and obstacles, but I am sure that I have suitable qualifications, which make me eligible to overcome them. Education as a basic concept in my perspective is all about developing knowledge, skills, values, ethics, physical and spiritual aspects,
I am in college because of several reasons. Neither of my parents went to college and they constantly remind me of how much they regret it. I would be the first person in my family to receive a college degree and that motivates me to continue my education. My dad is in the United State Air Force and he has transferred his Post 9/11 GI Bill benefits to me. Receiving the benefits gives me a large percentage off of my tuition and it also allows me to receive a check every month to help pay for housing. I have one goal for being in college and that is to finish. I have had many setbacks in my four years of college because of how many times I have transferred, but now all I can do is finish what I started.
People ask me why I'm going to college all the time. Or more specifically, why I'm starting so late. Most of my friends are graduating college this year, just as I'm starting my first year. Some tell me they loved it, and others tell me it's a complete waste of time and money. Not going to college has never been an option for me. My goal here is to get a bachelor's degree in computer programming, start my career, and better myself for my kids so they can have a better life and something to look up to.
You should hire me for this job because I am a writer who places an importance on every article that I make. I write articles to the best of what I could and sees to it that each of my employer's standards is met.
In 2008 I was diagnosed with an auto-immune disease that put my life on hold hold for several years, during that time I came to terms with my own mortality. I had been vegetarian for 15yrs and went vegan 9-years-ago. I believe that my vegan diet is what got me healthy and was the reason why I didn't experience side effects from the medication that I now have to be on for the rest of my life.
I would be honored to attend Benet Academy for various reasons. After reviewing the website and seeing all the school has to offer I have decided Benet would be the best school to help me develop my catholic faith, prepare me for college, and have many people who care about me. I strongly feel after considering other schools that these things will be best taken care of at Benet Academy.
I write in pursuit of becoming a teaching assistant for EG-1003 beginning this fall. I seek this position wishing to further develop my skills in communication and collaboration. Furthermore, I would admire watching student creativity in action when they work in the labs and interacting with others when helping them solve problems. I believe my previous experience and personality enable me to be an effective teaching assistant.
1. Learn more about myself: I grew up speaking only Mandarin in my family, so when I entered elementary school, I became known as the lonely girl who didn't know anything. I hated that title, so I did everything in my power to change it; I studied until I rose to the top of my class and I wore whatever was deemed popular. I was conditioned to be the epitome of a "perfect student." Recently, I realized that I'm completely locked in to this stereotype. I'm hoping that being at Stanford, around people I don't know, will give me a fresh start.
For a summer job I would like to be the work at McDonalds. The reason Ichose to have a summer job here is because it’s close and is an easy job. But mostspecifically be a cashier there. There is no requirements except personality andhow motivated you are. These are the reasons why.A cashier would get a pay of $15 per hour which is pretty decent. Theclosest one is in 597 NW Pkwy St, Azle, TX 76020 according to google maps. Alsoyou could get price cuts on food there if I work there. There requirements don’tuse college or high school degrees. Is all based on personality and how hard theywork. The hours for me working there all depend on how long I want to workthere. There is no specified time I have to work there so I would come in at 9am-3pm.
