In this world, every individual has their own unique personality. There are many ways to determine your personality with an online test. For example, our class had a color spectrum test to determine our color. When taking the color test, you will add up the total of points for each color that is shown and that will assign you a personality color. Many jobs required for their potential employees to take a personality color test to get a better understanding of their personality. With their personality, they can set their employees into a suitable workplace. Depending on your color it shows how you communicate with others. Brenda’s personality color result was blue, people whose color result in blue tend to be drawn to nurturing careers (Discovering Our Personality Style Through TRUE COLORS). Personality, like most core Psychology subjects, is difficult to define. Personality is essentially the science of describing and understanding people. No two people are the same; even identical twins will tell you that they are very different to their identical counterpart. There are some who are anxious and there are those who are risk-takers. There are some who are carefree while there are those who are highly-strung and there are those who are over-confident while some are just plain shy. It is this issue of differences that are fundamental to the study and examination of personality.
When it comes to the True Colors Personality Test, I am the color orange. Associated with activity and excitement. One strength that I have as an orange personality is that I’m hands-on. An example of a time that I was hands on, was in fifth grade. We dissected cats. I would be the person to touch, or help dissect, than be the one to write or observe. This is a strength because I am a lot more willing to do something. Also, being hands-on helps me understand the topic better. Another one of my strengths, is that I’m resourceful. An example of me being resourceful, is when I in the woods. I could build a simple shelter with the resources that are laying around. also good at sparring limited resources. Being resourceful is a good strength because
There are many personality tests available on the web that claim to help in deciphering your personality accurately and precisely. This test that I
Personality tests are beyond easy to find these days. All it takes is a few clicks from your keyboard and google will present you with thousands, if not millions of personality quizzes. However, some tests happen to be more legitimate than others. Recently, I took one such test at the Career Center at Eastern Florida State College. My results were sometimes correct, but seemed to be slightly off at other times. I did really enjoy taking a test built in this format though.

GREEN – Represents “independent”. When working with those whose dominant personality type is green, these helpful hints will help you better understand them:
After reviewing the results of both the 16 Personalities Quiz and the True Colors Personality Test, I have come to the conclusion that the 16 Personalities Quiz more accurately represents me. The True Colors Personality Test states that my personality colour, gold, “Values rules” whilst The 16 Personalities Quiz claims “Dislikes being constrained by the rules” and in this situation, The 16 Personalities Quiz is correct. Although I follow the rules, I cannot come to terms with all of them. I am a Mediator, which are free spirited and artistic. If I am capable of going beyond the set limitations, then I should be allowed to. I can truly be my best self if I am not doubted. The True Colors Personality Test also says
The first assessment we took on Euruka.org was a personality assessment called the True Colors. In this test, personalities are identified as four colors: gold, green, blue and orange. My result was green. As a green I am an independent, collected and reserve individual who “values knowledge, insight and justice.” Just like a green person, I do value my education, I was always one to prioritize my homework and studying hours over social activities and leisure. I tend to be quiet and don’t open up to people right away, sometimes not even at all. It takes time for me to feel comfortable with someone before I can speak out and make jokes. Some of the occupations I was recommended, as a green, were a variety of fields from an Architecture to a
Through the True Colors assessment conducted by Jill Pletcher from the WSU Career Development Center, True Color made me to look at myself and my personality temperament. She used True Colors four character cards to differentiate the four central personality styles of True colors; Orange, Gold, Green, and Blue. Color has been used to shape and describe my lives, my habits, my values, and my feelings. I was selected blue, gold, orange, and green in order.
After taking Jung’s typology test I received the personality type INTJ. The introvert score given was a 59 percent, intuitive 16 percent, thinking 25 percent and judging 56 percent. Based on these scores I took a look at what my strengths would be. According to the website used to take the test one strength would be that INTJ’s are perfectionist while some may consider this a bit of a weakness, I don’t think it’s such a bad thing. INTJ see that there is always room to improve and learn more, especially about things that they find interesting. Another strength is having the combination of both imagination and reliability, this is good when it comes to working on projects or coming up with an idea for something, because not only can you envision what it will be but you can decide realistically if it will work. Butt and Heiss (n.d.) say that INTJ’s are also good at seeing opportunities other people may not. The high introvert score indicates I am much better at working alone then with the help of others, and normally working on something until it is completed. When it comes to other strengths, INTJ’s will work extremely hard in relationships and are very good at picking up people’s emotions. This is part of the intuitive dimension. Thinkers are good at making strong decisions based on rational information rather than
Personality is defined as the unique way in which each individual thinks, acts, and feels throughout life (Ciccarelli, 2014). Numerous individuals are curious in regards to their actions and how their mind works, thus leading companies to create personality tests, in order to provide individuals with some perspective on their personality. While individuals can take personality tests for leisure, personality tests are often utilized in situations such as job interviews, diagnosing mental disorders, and educational purposes. Two popular personality tests are the Keirsey Temperament Sorter and the Big Five Personality test. After taking both tests, I analyzed them using my knowledge of general psychology and of my own actions. I found the
Overall, results indicate that the manipulation of the color of questionnaire had no effect on mood. However, there was an effect of time of day on mood as well as an effect of gender on mood. The results did not support the main hypothesis that different colors would elicit different moods. Thus, this study found no support for the prediction that brighter colors would elicit positive moods, whereas less bright colors would elicit negative moods. These results do not support past research findings that brighter colors tend to elicit positive moods, whereas, dark colors elicit negative moods (Hemphill, 1996; Kaya & Epps, 2004). Moreover, this result was not expected given the previously discussed research by Weller and Livingston (1988)
If you look at my stethoscope you will notice that it is bright blue. I chose to go with this color instead a more traditional color, such as black, because it reflects my personality. Similar to the color of my stethoscope, I am a “bright” person. 1. I enjoy being enthusiastic and upbeat.
Some key personality concepts that define who I am is introvert, intuitive, intuitive feeling, and judging. Introverted intuition allows me to appreciate a better clarity of perception of inner unconscious techniques. It allows me to act spontaneously and insightful as original resolutions present themselves, on a case by case basis. Basically this means that I follow my intuition and not how I may sense something.
Have I ever took a personality test that answer will be no I have not taking one but will like to take one to learn more about what type characteristic shape my personality. I would expect the personality test to show my caring ability, motivation levels and strength ability.
