It’s a common misconception that yoga is an exercise only for flexible, bendy people. Some even believe that yoga involves tiny people twisting themselves up into a knot like a pretzel.

The reality, however, is far from this perception. Believe it or not, anyone who has the ability to breathe on their own can practice yoga.

This exercise can do a lot when it comes to improving your overall physical health. A research from physicians at the HMO Group Health Cooperative in Seattle discovered that yoga can help reduce diabetes, heart disease, and even chronic pain throughout the body. In other words, yoga works on building muscles and increasing endurance.

It can also help shrink your midline (waste) as well.

Practicing yoga can also help your skin tone and complexion. It helps in the elimination of toxins and in the management of stress and anxiety that can set off unwanted acne and breakouts.

Generally speaking, the skin on someone’s face is one of the first things we notice, so it’s only natural that we would desire healthy, glowing skin.
