Clemson University has a high acceptance rate of 63.28 percent. Specific high school credits are required for acceptance. These include two elective, four english, three second-language, three history, three math, and three science lab credits. There are many cases where students are accepted with scores way below the average for the school. A student was accepted with a 2.5 grade point average and a 1300 Scholastic Aptitude Test score. This is because Clemson does consider the rigor of some high school courses.

From a cute feline to an all-grounds occasion, the Houston Online Colleges produces aggregate and makes fun with a social event of time-regarded traditions. Most individual colleges have their own particular traditions, also, interfacing from 'The Follies', a period old doctoral level school tradition where understudies contribute months masterminding appearances deriding their instructors, to the yearly Engineering Golf Tournament, where golfers raise money to reinforce the Cullen College of Engineering. Here are just a couple the traditions that the University celebrates as a
I aspire to attend the Clark Atlanta University because it is a symbol for past and future generations of educational and operational excellence. Clark Atlanta University is the hub of African American leadership and educational expansion, and with the constant policing of the community and poaching of black culture in today’s society, it is significant that I achieve an education that represents myself and the world with which I am familiar and intend to change for the better.
I was born in Victoria, Texas. Being raised in South Florida, I’ve been around a variety of cultures and diverse people all my life. I am mu-lingual (English / Spanish) and I am conversational in Italian. Attending Somerset Academy Charter since kindergarten is one of the reasons I am who I am today. Somerset Academy is a school that makes each student feel important, valued and part of a school community. I have always had the opportunity to speak up and reach out to my peers for any help and advice needed. The Somerset Academy community has shaped me into being a dedicated student and has allowed me to build mentoring relationships with many of my professors. Another reason I am the person I am today is because of my parents and the empowerment afforded to me. I come from a family that has instilled in me the significance of an education and a strong work ethic. They have also taught me the importance of freedom of choice and accountability for those choices. My parents have always stressed that an education is paramount to attain a
I am very grateful for the opportunity to apply for membership to the Anselmo-Merna National Honor Society. I am excited to take on a greater leadership role in my school and community. The National Honor Society is known for creating individuals that will strive to show exemplary character in and out of the classroom now and for future years to come. Scholarship is one of the four very important pillars of National Honor Society. I believe I should be accepted into the National Honor Society because I work very hard to maintain my 3.5 GPA. and have stayed consistently on the Honor Roll since the seventh grade. I am very diligent about my schoolwork and I always do the best work possible. I enjoy learning new things and trying to better cultivate
Throughout the past four years of high school, I have done my best to try and stay actively involved in the community. I have been presented with some amazing volunteer opportunities such as Huron Safety Town, STAR Leadership Camp, American Red Cross, and Huron High School Girl’s Basketball Biddy Program. I spent over 24 hours at Huron Safety Town where I was able to help young students, mainly those going into Kindergarten, learn how to stay safe while on the road. I was also able to spend over 24 hours at STAR Leadership Camp where I was a councilor to those going into the sixth grade. I made sure that each student understood the importance of being a leader in today's society and how important they are to Huron’s community. Through National Honor Society I have been able to maintain in constant contact, approximately 10 hours, with the American Red Cross by volunteering in monthly blood drives. I have also dedicated 16 hours of my time to those young girls interested in someday being a varsity basketball player through the Biddy Basketball Program.
FAU also offers a Residential Learning Community for students who live on campus and take on a full-course schedule. Students in this program have the opportunity to live and study with students, in Glades Park Towers, who share the same major. Students in RLC also have the benefit of using FAU’s Get Wise Center, located in the lobby of GPT, where they can get tutoring, advising, and career counseling.
Volunteering, in minor or significant ways, taught me that I could make an impact in the world and along the way build my character, experience the world, and develop better communication skills. I learned this at my local library, Fumo Family Branch. I aspire to become a part of the National Honors Society because I want to network with my peers and people outside of the Academy at Palumbo, improve my character and leadership skills, and give back to my community. I strongly believe that I am a great candidate because I possess the four pillars of the National Honors Society: scholarship, character, leadership, and service.
On their site, both UNC and its Communication Department have requirements for students to meet. UNC’s offers many programs and degrees different requirements, but the most relevant to me is their requirements for majors. For all majors, students must achieve a grade of C or higher in a minimum of 18 credit hours and are not allowed to declare any required course to be Pass/Fail (The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, 2018, “General Education Curriculum and Degree Requirements”). A Pass/Fail option is a decision for students to either declare a course to be a pass (does not count towards hours attempted) or fail (an F that counts towards hours attempted). As the base guideline for all UNC studenta, I’m not surprised by any of this.
The College welcomes applications from transfer students who have a 3.0, but those who have completed a two-year degree may be ineligible for admission. Students who already possess a four-year degree are not eligible for admission.
