Our approach to sustainability ties directly to our business purpose of helping people on their path to better health. Our pharmacy dispensing principles aligns with this purpose and extends to our sustainable business operations, workplace, supply chain and communities.
To me, Sustainable leadership empowers leaders and followers to create lasting local and global value for environment, society, economy and all stakeholders affected by his or her actions( or non actions) and actions of the organization. Firms should aim at “creating economic value in a way that also creates value for society by addressing its needs and challenges”. The world is changing fast and business will have to adapt to become resilient (manage risks) and flourish (exploit opportunities). We need new strategies of shared value to deal with the uncertainty and complexity ahead in a systemic way. Sustainable business is becoming part of the solution to the world’s most pressing problems

Bertrand Piccard quotes, “In the 21st century, the heroes will be the people who will improve the quality of life, fight poverty and introduce more sustainability. This is a powerful message, it sums up the concepts discussed throughout the course. Additionally, the case studies such as the New Belgium Brewery, SC Johnson and The Kimberly Clarke organization have been proven to practice this philosophy. As society progresses in its efforts to provide a more sustainable future, there is a fundamental foundation of principles that must be followed to ensure success. Sustainable business development takes into account the application of business operations as it relates to the three pillars of sustainability, which is a dynamic yet integrative place to begin this journey. DesJardins, (2006) calls for a re-imagination of the future to create a vibrant sustainable model; which forms similar beliefs to Piccard. In addition, organizations are more inclined to create sustainable practices based on consumer demand and the willingness of leadership to participate in sustainability programs.
Many people do not live ecofriendly lives or find protecting the environment to be important.

This paper presents a synopsis of Applied Medical 's current sustainability practices, discusses specific sustainable practices that can benefit the triple bottom line immediately, and finally exhibits the benefits of synergizing corporate responsibility activities by appointing a Corporate Social Responsibility Manager to Applied Medical 's leadership team.
One point of view says that we should invest in the environment because it will increase our reputation among other things resulting in increased sales. Another point of view is to not invest in sustainability and since consumers gravitate towards the best products and the best prices, which a team could develop, then sustainability is just an unneeded expense. As a team we feel that there should a balance of both investing in sustainable business practices and turning a profit. This strategy can be seen when we turned a $4,600,257 profit in quarter six while investing in seven conscious
Your responsibilities are not yet complete, because each time a medication is administered, it must be documented. Your documentation of medication administration must be done at the time that you give the medication on the medication log. It should be written in blue or black ink. No pencil or white out should be used, and never cross out, if you make a mistake on the medication log. Just circle your mistake and explain what happened.
The availability of the sustainability product is important for WML if they would like the customer to purchase their new product lines (Joshi & Rahman 2015).

Sustainability has become a great topic of interest in many arenas. Particularly, leading organizations are recognizing sustainability needs to be an essential aspect of their long term strategies. With this recognition, better business practices are being sought by investors as well as sustainability is becoming a driving force for better efficiencies and innovation. Two organizations, Wal-Mart and Starbucks, have both took on sustainability as long term initiatives to address their customer needs and affect how their suppliers operate.
Treating the epidemic: Identification of questionable prescribing and dispensing patterns through results obtained from a one year state-run pilot program, aimed at developing a “standardized peer review process and methodology to review and evaluate prescribing and pharmacy dispensing ” (Foster B. et al., 2017) patterns in the state. The Australian government is active in its move to promote and push for sustainable business practices, one of their more recent resolutions is the Clean Energy Legislation, which is made of individual bills covering levys on green house gases and fuel tax, this enforces corporations to oblige and making a move towards being green (Griffiths, 2012). However this means that certain organisations will do the bare minimum of what is required of them by law and nothing more. There are other initiatives in place to encourage sustainable business practices which are not legally binding, such as Sustainable Business Australia, who provide policy recommendations and resources for sustainability challenges (SBA, n.d). Companies who become members with SBA are held in high regards by their stakeholders as they abide by the recommendations regarding carbon action and resource solutions. There is also an emphasis on the people, and their crucial role in creating business value. Previously people were satisfied with just their basic needs being fulfilled, but no longer, we now see Maslow’s hierarchy of needs triangle unravelling as people require more to feel satisfied with themselves and what they do in their work space (Kiel, 1999). With encouragement from government and local communities, Australia is making an effort with great determination towards having the best sustainable business
In this essay,I’m going to argue that leadership practices bring impacts on sustainable development in the post-bureaucratic era. World Commission on Economic Development(WCED) defines sustainable development as development that satisfies the needs in the present as well as in the future (Bansal 2005). Business is considered as an aspect of the society as a whole (Evans 1992) and it can be seen that the society is more concerned about ethics, law and regulations, thus a more sustainable management style is widely applied in the post-bureaucratic era. In the first section,I draw upon Cameron and Caza (2004),Mackey (2011),Bansal(2005) and Driscoll and Starik (2004) to present ideas on the contribution of different types of organizational
