1.1. Introduction And History
Everybody loves to eat pizza, especially from Pizza Hut Restaurant. Pizza Hut is American restaurant chain and international franchise, known for pizza and side dishes. It is now corporately known as Pizza Hut, Inc. and is a subsidiary of Yum! Brands, Inc., the world's largest restaurant company.
In Wichita, brothers Frank and Dan Carney opened the first Pizza Hut restaurant on June 15, 1958. They had been approached by the owner of a small building who wanted a nice neighborhood business, and had read the Post's article about pizza. The Carneys borrowed $600 from their mother, located John Bender, an airman from McConnell Air Force Base who had worked as a pizza cook, purchased some secondhand equipment and

It’s hard to believe there are five problems with In-N-Out Burger because of how successful the company is and how delicious the burgers are. Well at least that what I heard, one of my friends that moved to California confessed to me that the reason he moved was because he loved In-N-Out Burger’s. But as I began to read I found more than five devastating problems that the Snyder family encountered as pioneers of the fast food business.
It owns the sole master franchise privileges for the Domino 's trade name and system in several parts mainly in Australia, New Zealand, France, Belgium, The Netherlands, Japan and the Principality of Monaco. Globally, it sells more than 1 million pizzas a day in roughly 1300 stores across 6 countries, 9000 in over 60 countries and 600 over Australia and New Zealand. It functions as a quick service pizza restaurant whereby it is differentiated because QSR retailers are recognized as acquiring incorporated management with required standard menus and pricing unlike smaller outlets.
Chicken! Chicken! Chicken! Southerners are crazy about it! Chicken is an iconic meal, from grandma 's kitchen to fast food restaurants. Sometimes grandma 's home cooked chicken is not always readily available, so what is the next best option? This is my review of two very popular fast food chains, the main item on each menu is none other than chicken. These two restaurants go by the name Chick-fil-A and Zaxby 's. Chick-fil-A has a bit of an interesting story, with the franchise being very comfortable with the Christian faith. Because of this, all locations are closed on Sundays and holidays. Information from their website shows that Chick-fil-A cares for its community and is involved in several fundraisers for churches and schools. Zaxby 's observes normal hours and does not really take part in community events. I visited the Chick-fil-A over on Harris Lane in Bessemer, Alabama at around noon. This Chick-fil-A just opened a few years back and has been very popular since. On a different occasion, I visited the Zaxby 's just a few miles down the road from Chick-fil- A, located on Academy Drive. The website describes Zaxby 's as a “chain eatery serving up fried chicken fingers, wings, sandwiches, and other American comfort eats”. These two competitors offer very similar menu options, but completely different environments. Although Chick-fil-A has better customer service, Zaxby 's has tastier food and an overall better ambiance.
The three greatest strategic challenges Papa John’s currently faces are competition, pricing, and meeting growth targets. As with any organization, they are continuously competing against other firms in their markets. The market is highly competitive with other retailers such as Pizza Hut, Domino’s, and Little Caesars also looking to create a competitive edge for their businesses. Although Papa John’s has created a successful brand they must still work at providing products and services which their competition cannot. Through marketing and technology they must understand their market in order to ensure they are staying true to their core values while providing more of what the consumer is looking for above their competitors.
The Pizza Delivery Quick (PDQ) Industry service in America is considered to be a very successful market in the quick service restaurant industry. Although the industry success is very appealing, managing the day-to-day operations needs significant planning and a clear tactics to create, implement, execute and have successful results. However, the PDQ last report sales are on the level of 30%, which places the company in a serious difficult position to continue operating competitively.

As mentioned earlier, the pizza market was already a mature market at the time Papa John’s opened its first store in Indiana in 1985. In such conditions where competition is fierce, most entrants choose to compete on price in order to achieve growth and capture market share. From the beginning, Papa John’s chose to compete on quality, customer service, and creative marketing -- a stark contrast with its competition that were largely differentiating on price.
Back when I was only five years old, pizza was always one of my favorite food in my life.
Pizza hut is faced with challenges as they try to get their “toe in the water” and enter the market in Moscow. The challenges are:
Pizza Hut got their start in 1958 when two brother borrowed $600 from their mother open a pizza place in Wichita, Kansas. Since, then Pizza Hut has grown from just one pizza place to having them in over 100 countries today. I believe what make this pizza company so successful is their hospitality and their quality of food.

It is no secret that Pizza is one of the most loved comfort food worldwide. Whether you decide to eat it at some fancy Italian restaurant or make it at home, pizza is something most people agree upon, when it comes to the menu choice.
As far back as I can remember, I have always liked going out to eat. Two of my favorite restaurants are Jake’s and McDonald’s. Though both are places to dine they have their differences in their ambiance, waiting, and expense. When deciding where to go to eat, I have three things to think about. I must consider the atmosphere or where I want to go. The amount of time I have is another consideration. The amount of money that I am able to spend is a big influence.
