Northwest Missouri State University is a great place for everybody to learn. They have a numerous amount of majors and make it easy for first time freshman, transfer students, and international students to apply. NWMSU has many activities for everybody including intramurals, concerts, and recreation centers. They have many different options for housing and meal plans, which they also make very affordable for everybody. Northwest Missouri State also offers in-state tuition to out of state students that meet the requirements. The University is in a town of 12,000 and is one of the safest towns in the Nation.

The problem at hand here at Savannah State University is that our campus is full of trash and we need to start recycling more, we spend a vast amount on money on energy when we do not have to. By participating in these innovations the university will be able to save money that could possibly go toward some much need renovations in Bowen-Smith and Bostic halls. The renovations to the two oldest residential halls campus would help the living conditions more adequate to live in while preserving historic buildings. The money could also go towards the funding for more faculty members to help teach more courses.

Grove City College is a private college in Grove City, Pennsylvania. The college would not complete Title IX compliance papers because the school did not receive any federal financial support directly and felt that it was not bound by Title IX. Even though the college itself didn’t receive federal money, some of the students who attended the college did. The Basic Educational Opportunity Grants (BEOGs), now called the Pell Grant, was a program funded with federal money to serve aspiring student with the financial aid they need to attend college. From the Department of Education’s view point, the school was receiving federal money, indirectly, in the form of student tuition that was being paid with federal money through the BEOGs. If Gove City College didn’t comply with Title IX, the Department of Education threatened to “initiate administrative proceedings to declare the college as well as the students ineligible for federal funding, including BEOGs” (Anderson & Osborne, 2008).

There has been many problems about safety on campus at Pittsburg State University, “In 2014 there were four rapes on campus, two in student housing, and two on campus property” (Pitt State). There were no other reports of rape, except for on campus according to pittstate.edu. There has also been counts of robbery, forcible fondling, assault, and more. There is not enough safety on campus, and that is why these offenses have happened. There are people that have night classes, and they don’t feel safe walking from their building to their car, or dorms. Even though there may be more costs to adding in more lights, panic buttons and police, it can save them from a lawsuit in the long run.

The University of Kansas is extending its hand to a few community colleges in the area. Butler Community College in particular is taking this step to pave the way for its college students to earn dual degrees.

There are many effective ways to change how we use energy and save fossil fuels, such as, turning gas powered cars into electric cars, using solar panels to run off of the power of the sun, instead of using electricity, and using wind turbines which are only being powered by wind, causing no natural resources to be used up. Solar power is a very effective way of preventing the Earth from becoming more damaged. By using solar energy, we will be putting less toxins into the atmosphere and causes less pollution, acid rain, and greenhouse gases. Solar power has actually been around for thousands of years because ancient people build their clay homes in the direct sun so that when it became winter their homes would be warm.

There are quite a number of solar energy advantages that are worth noting. One will be that it helps to slow and stop global warming and the possible manifestation of any other environmental problems.
