Executive summary
Conferencing and banquet service is one of the major parts of the hotel and service industry of the modern time. As the performances of this industries is mainly of service based, the managers and the related staffs engaged in the conference and banqueting service has to have some practical knowledge and dedicative mind to serve. Otherwise the programs arrange by the people who has lack of knowledge in this field will not be able to meet the expectations of the customers. It is closely related to the image of the organization. There are several specific scope, scale and strategic issues, operational issues closely related to the conference and banqueting service. Proper planning, economic consideration and proper strategies must be developed in case of developing a successful conference or banqueting program in the industry.
