Specific Purpose: To inform my audience about the Senator of the State of Florida Marco Rubio, his family, his education, his career, and how do people perceived him.

He was the senator of Florida. Rubio is 44 years old. He has been interested in politics and volunteer work since he was a juvenile. U.S. citizens should vote for Marco Rubio because he is against gay marriage, he is against abortion, and is for legal immigration.

Marco Rubio is the Republican counterpart to 2008 Barack Obama, just without the elegance or needed ideology. He is a handsome minority, who is well spoken, and has a beautiful, young family. He appears to be an adequate choice for the nomination, as he has centrist enough views to interest some independents, while also having some of the requisite crazy to entice the party’s base. Rubio is also from Florida, which could help in turning an essential swing state red. A shortcoming for Marco Rubio is that he has recently decided that he is a Senator in name only, forgoing actually attending Senate votes and hearings, except on payday. The position of president has evolved in the almost quarter millennium since the framers created the Constitution. The main issues facing the framers included the position’s structure, independence, and power. Although the modern presidency is different from the framers’ design, they would approve of it, since the concerns that the framers had with the executive still have been prevented. When creating the presidency, one issue the framers decided quickly was the structure, particularly having one president. This satisfied the needs of both the Conservative and Radical Republicans, by allowing for quick action, while still providing clear accountability.

On June 22, Marco Rubio announced that he would indeed run for re-election. Republicans were enthused by this news because he is universally known across the state and an immaculate fundraiser. The race was immediately polled, and Sen. Rubio was winning by 8%.

On the outside it seems as if there is a potential collision course to that conclusion. However, Blij does offer an interesting solution to this possibility and it is one that I believe should be the strongest takeaway. Blij suggests that trade, scientific, cultural and educational links and exchanges can be the solution to this issue. After all, China is responsible for many of the essential aspects to our life. His campaign for the US senate started in 2009, but he expected to lose to a wealthier rival. And even though he doubted himself, he was surprisingly elected on the promise of bringing conservative ideas to the senate (“Marco Rubio”).

Rubio’s main focus and goal was to lower taxes, but he also worked on improving education, as well as making the government efficient. These meetings were focused on addressing the key issues that the people of Florida had. There are many other candidates fighting to be the next person to turn this country around. Marco Rubio will put his plans into action and make The United States better for all.
