“Every sight in space is spectacular.” This was said by Neil Armstrong, the first man to supposedly land on the moon. The question is, did he really land on the moon, or was it a broadcasted fraud? Thousands of Americans argue that it was a setup such as the attacks on September 11, and every day, somebody changes their opinion on what really happened. For many years, people have been trying to figure out this occasion, and ever since Neil Armstrong, Michael Collins, and Buzz Aldrin Ventured down from the moon, conspiracies have been appearing. The three men traveled on a ship called the “Eagle”. Facts show that Buzz Aldrin and Neil Armstrong were the only two to land, while Michael Collins orbited the moon. Neil Armstrong was the first …show more content…
For example, “Conspiracy theorists have pointed out that when the first moon landing was shown on live television, viewers could clearly see the American flag waving and fluttering as Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin planted it” said Josh Fox. Many NASA employees and citizens have been able to prove that the flag was only moving because of the inertia given by Neil Armstrong as he was planting it. There is no wind up in the atmosphere of the moon which is the reason why the footprints of Buzz and Neil will be preserved for hundreds of years. Another conspiracy that many people have created is why the sky black with no stars in the background. This has been proven by NASA by saying, “The moon's surface reflects sunlight, and that glare would have made stars difficult to see. Also, the astronauts photographed their lunar adventures using fast exposure settings, which would have limited incoming background light.” This is proof that two Americans really did land on the moon and for more proof, many anecdotes of these men that felt the rush themselves. The book, “Houston, we’ve had a problem” by Jim Lovell describes the journey back home from the moon, and how Neil Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin, and Michael Collins stared into the eyes of death himself. Jim Lovell is not just some American citizen; he was a commander on Apollo 13 and worked at the NASA base during Apollo 11. Apollo 11 was the journey taken by Neil, Buzz, and Michael where they
One of the most patriotic moments in United States history was an American stepping foot on the Moon. It came at a time when the U.S. was involved in the Cold War, bringing joy to the entire country. It was a task that took years of failure and hard work to accomplish. The moon landing helped elevate the status of the United States as a country trying to catch up to the Soviet Union in the race of space advancement. However, this accomplishment has been diminished by many who have claimed it be staged. Two of them are Bill Kaysing, who published a book detailing the hoax in 1976, and Bart Sibrel, who published a documentary in 2001.
Was the Moon landing real or a hoax? The moon landing was a major scientific breakthrough and a great day for America. The problem is, it might’ve been faked. There are many pieces of evidence showing that it could have been faked but there is also evidence showing that the moon landing could have also been real. I believe that the moon landing was not a hoax. The flag was blowing in the wind but how was it supposed to stop if there is no friction on the moon? The astronauts' shadows don’t match the lunar light source because there was a matte box on the camera . That there were absolutely no stars in the sky because the pictures were taken during the day.
The last and most obvious reason why the moon landing was fake is shown in another photo of mysterious lights illuminating the sky. It wasn’t a star. This proves the moon landing was faked because it isn’t regualr for bright lights to magically appear in space unless it’s a star, which it’s not. It has been said that the mysterious lights were actually studio lights from a production set, which means the entire moon landing was instead, a photoshoot.
Conspiracy theories are everywhere. It seems that for every event in to have taken place in history, there is a group of individuals saying that it is a government conspiracy. There are conspiracy theories regarding the 9/11 attacks, presidential assassinations, Area 51, Jimmy Hoffa, the English crown and Elvis. The list is endless. In this paper we are going to discuss the moon landing conspiracy. Apparently there are people who believe the entire moon landing was a hoax. They believe that we did not actually land on the moon, but produced the event in a movie studio so that we would be able to beat Russia in the great “Space Race”. These people have taken all the evidence from the moon landing and analyzed ever aspect and tried to
Was the moon landing a hoax? Why was America able to go in the 1900s but not today? There are many reasons why the moon landing was faked. Some reasons and examples the moon landing was a hoax are the Van Allen Radiation Belt or the ‘C’ rock. These reasons are proven by a number of sites and people. Most of the facts go against NASA and the “real moon landing”.
The moon landing conspiracy is a theory that the the U.S. has not ever gone to the moon.People have been fighting over this topic whether it was fake or real.In this essay eal.I am going to tell you if the moon landindgs were fake or real
moon landing, but then again they could have actually landed on the moon.We actually did land on the moon and we do have evidence, but after knowing that you may be wondering why did we want to go to the moon in the first place well I will tell you. Towards the late 50’s during the Cold War in which the U.S. and the Soviet Union were competing against each other. Then one day space was the new place to get to, as both the U.S. and the Soviet Union tried to prove that their technology was better than each others. The conspiracy theories about how the moon landings are a hoax are false they should be able to tell that it did happen because research has proven
The United States and Mankind have gone on to do many amazing feats that were once though impossible. However, nothing comes to be quite as amazing as the Apollo 11 mission that landed the first men on the surface of the moon. At the time this act caused widespread celebration, and cheer. Over the years some people started to doubt the legitimacy of what occurred on that day back in 1969. These people came on to form the basis of the moon landing conspiracy theory. A theory that states that the United States never landed on the moon and the United States faked the whole thing in order to say they won the space race against the Soviet Union and increase moral during the time of the Cold war. Some of the core arguments that form the Moon landing Hoax conspiracy are that the mission would have been too dangerous with the technology we had at the time. They disregard any footage from the event, believing that NASA and the US government created a fake set in an undisclosed location and used special effects to make the footage seem more believable. All of the claims made by these hoax believers can be refuted with science and common sense, and that is what this paper sets out to do.
The moving flag is the most popular reason for conspiracy theorists to believe that the moon landing was fake. In one photograph, the American flag appears to be fluttering. The theorists grasp this as evidence because they believe that a flag can not move on the airless moon. Despite this, according to TIME magazine, 2009; NASA said that the flag was moving

Many accomplishments throughout the years, in the United States have formed our country to a nationalist society. On July 20th, 1969, the Mission Control Center in Houston, Texas received the call, “Houston”, which confirmed the landing of these three astronauts on the moon. Recently though, many discussions of the Apollo 11 mission have astonished thoughts of many Americans. Conspiracy theorists are looking at the Moon Landing as a hoax and one big set up that Americans were fooled into believing actually happened. In 1974, Bill Kasying wrote a book entitled We Never Went to the Moon:
Conspiracy theories have been around since the beginning of time. When NASA sent the first landed on the moon, there are people who believed that NASA faked the moon landings. Men, such as Bill Kaysing, the Flat Earth Society, and Davie Groves, and Bart Sibrel, have written books, delivered lectures, and made videos about why they believed NASA faked the moon landings. Based on their observations which include no stars in their pictures, NASA's drive to beat the Russians to the moon, and a way to distract people from the Vietnam war, the group believes that the moon landings were faked.
It wasn 't until I really sat down and thought about it that I realized the moon landing was questionable. As a kid I always thought it would be amazing to be an astronaut so the thought that maybe there is no real astronauts at all had me concerned. On July 20th 1969, the Apollo 11 with astronaut Neil Armstrong and his crew, guided by thousands of NASA technicians, supposedly landed in the surface of the moon. This landing at its time was considered the most amazing technological advancement in the history of mankind. The moon landing is something that everyone knows about but as it turns out about 20% americans and 50% or Ukrainians don 't believe the moon landing really happened, here 's why.
There is physical evidence that can prove on how the moon landing is a hoax. One of the popular evidences that it is a hoax is that in the videos and pictures of the men on the moon, in the distance of space there is absolutely no stars in sight. “The photographs on the moon don't show any stars in the sky,” (5 Goofy Moon landing Hoax Theories, 2017 p.30). That is why a lot of people believed this was faked and filmed in a studio. The second piece of physical evidence is how when they stuck the American flag in the ground it was waving like there is wind in space. “There's no wind on the moon, so how come the flag was blowing in a breeze?” (5 Goofy Moon landing Hoax Theories, 2017 p.30). On the moon there is no atmosphere like here on earth so there can't be any reasonable explanation as to why the flags moving but NASA has tried. The final part of my physical evidence is one of the most famous. In a picture from the astronauts there is a moon rock
One of the key pieces of evidence of the moon landing is photo evidence. Numerous photos as well as video have been released and seen by the public. One of the
