This may be coincidence and it may not, but it definitely interesting as many, if not all, of the sculptures made in Duke's likeness were casted in

That’s what two girls named Kewauna and Marita wanted to do. Kewauna wanted to better her life with the OneGoal program, she took full advantage of her education by getting to know her professors and making them remember her, and anything she struggled with she made sure to study and pay extra attention to. Marita also wanted to take advantage of her education instead of telling her mom that she couldn’t handle the KIPP Academy she toughed through it, even with a 10 hour school day she will go home

This project will help me to make connections with the world because I will be working with one of the most-well known organization on Maui. I will learn more about turtles and their habitats. This will challenge me because I will need to dedicate my time during the week. This means I need to organize my time and plans. I have a list of five questions that will be answered to finish my project. These questions are: How do turtles hatch their eggs and how it looks like? What can we do to help turtles? What does turtles do in their daily life? How many turtles still remain in Hawaii? How much does turtles affect our environment?

The massasauga is venomous and may bite if surprised or threatened. The staff at Jennings ask you to please stay on the trails for your own safety and the snake’s protection. Over three quarters of the park is covered by forest (www.dcnr.state.pa.us/stateparks/findapark/jennings/). The citizen project that I have picked is the project where I will find and report about plants and animals in my community. I have chosen this project due to the fact that the information that will be used in this project relates to pasts events that I have experienced in my life. This project will be on Barn Swallows and their population. At my home, I have Barn Swallows that live in the rafters of my barn and I have actually taken care of one before setting it free once it was old enough. This project applies to my future career goals because I want to get my animal rehabilitation license and to do that, I need to know about animals. Thus, doing this project will allow me to learn more about Barn Swallow populations and where they are located.

The Maasai are a pastoralist tribe living in Kenya and Northern Tanzania. Much of their land falls within the Great Rift Valley. The main source of their livelihood remains livestock, consisting of cattle, sheep, and goats. Traditionally, Maasai do not feed on game meat as this is associated with the hunters-gathers (Dorobo people). They have relied on their livestock, mainly cows, for most of their nutritional needs. Milk, meat, and blood constitute the basic components of the Maasai diet.
