1. On my Unit 1 Post Test, I performed pretty well as I received a 17.5/18 score on it. During the post test on Wednesday, it seemed to be fairly self-explanatory and was able to answer all of the questions with a good amount of confidence. 2. The thing that ended up taking away that .5 point on my post test is that I made a mistake on my wording for the average rate of change explanation. I need to review my notes a lot about how the proper structure of the average rate of change sentence is supposed to be. 3. My goal for the upcoming Unit 1 Test is to perfectly ace it on Wednesday. This test being about 75% weight on my grade makes it even more scary to not make any small mistakes, which I often do on assignments and not so much on quizzes
The first test was really demanding and it is a bit hard to understand the instructor. As a result, I failed it. Now I will go to the instructor's office hours and ask for help to do better in the next test
6. Although you are basically satisfied with the analysis thus far, you are concerned about the
For example interest rates, the cost of raw materials including fuel, the number of sales or orders that we make and in turn all of these rely on other factors. The best therefore that can be done when developing a budget is to look at all the factors that are likely to affect the budget and decide how to take account of each one. If there is a previous budget (last year or last month) then it is sensible to look at how this has been achieved or not as the case may be, and what factors affected the outcome. If we are looking at monthly budgets it might be a better comparison to look at the same month twelve months ago as well as the previous months. The more factors we take into consideration when estimating a budget, the more accurate our budget will be.
Unit 12 deals with teaching productive skills. Productive skills are speaking and writing. They are both used to communicate. Speaking requires fluency and writing requires accuracy. Accuracy activities are usually part of the study phase, they are concerned with producing correct language, they are controlled by the teacher. Fluency activities are part of an activate phase and they are concentrated on flow of communication, and speaking without stopping. They are less controlled. Speaking activities can be controlled or guided and creative communication. Controlled activities are accuracy based (e.g. drilling), guided are also accuracy based, but more creative (e.g. model dialogues), while creative communication is fluency based, the teacher
Why or why not? Different types of bacteria are rubbed on each side of a petri dish. If there is more bacteria put on one side that side is going to grow more. Just because they are in the same petri dish doesn’t mean that they
Unit 2 was somewhat challenging, having to do the our first programming assignment was confusing at first, after doing all the reading and the quiz, I was still trying to assimilate all the new terms, what they meant and how would use it in the future.
18 study data were derived from the apnea database (PhysioNet) corresponding to MIT/BIH database. AirFlow, SaO2, Abdominal and Thoracic Movements were obtained from full PSG records. Each record includes a period of nearly eight hours and signals annotation is done minute-by-minute. A minute is labeled as an apnea case if it contains at least one condition of apnea or hypopnea, otherwise labeled as a non-apnea. The patients mean age and weight are between 27 to 63 years (4810.8) and 53 to 135 kg (86.322.2), respectively. PhysioNet data are classified in two categories: Apnea Group (Class A, more than 100 minutes of apnea, mean age: 50 years in range of 29 to 63 years) and Normal Group (class C, less than 5 minutes of apnea, mean age of 33 years
The questions were really tricky, even after preparing hard for the exam. I got a "D" on the final exam in CST2410,
The signs and symptoms of a person that has diabetes is that they lose weight without even trying to. Increased thirst and frequent urination – excess sugar building up in your blood-stream causes fluid to be pulled from the tissues. This may leave a person thirsty, causing a person to drink and urinate more than usual. People with diabetes have an increased hunger. Without enough insulin to move sugar into the cells, the muscles and organs becomes depleted by energy. This triggers intense hunger. People have weight loss, without the ability to metabolise glucose, the body uses alternative fuels stored in muscle and fat. Calories are lost as excess
3. My biggest goal is “I can ask for and give simple directions to go somewhere and do something.” I feel that this would be a very useful skill to have, especially if I were to ever got lost.
4. What did you learn about yourself from the Assessment? (What were your major strengths and weaknesses? How do you react to these results? How can you build on strengths and minimize or eliminate weaknesses?)
4. What is covered on the test? How many questions? What is the passing score? If you can't find the info, let me know.
The analysis of the data in this study showed that there was a statistically significant difference in the grade point average of high school junior student-athletes when compared to non-athletes. During their participation in an athletic season, the mean GPA of the athletes was 3.11 and the standard deviation was .73, when the athletes were not participating in an athletic season, the mean GPA was 3.20 and the standard deviation was .90.
Harvard professor Chris Argyris promoted the concepts of espoused theories of action and theories-of-use. Espoused theories of actions reflect what people say governs their behavior, while theories-of-use reflects how they actually behave.
My purpose in writing this book is to give you the knowledge to succeed. I have written it to be as close as I can to the actual test; however, I do not claim that this practice exam is the same as the real test. The questions I’ve included are only examples of the ones that are asked on the actual exam. They are not the actual questions. That would be impossible because the questions
