Toddlers and preschoolers are at different developmental stages, and therefore require their teachers to use different approaches and techniques to further learning. I completed my observations at the Bright and Early Children’s Learning Center where I observed a toddler classroom and a preschool classroom. My observations took place from 8:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. on the 21st and 28th of September. The first day that I observed I was placed in the toddler classroom which had two teachers, Miss Ashlynn and Miss Miranda, and six students, most of whom were two years old. In the preschool classroom there was one teacher, Miss Stephanie, and eight students, each of whom were 3 years old or 4 years old. While the rooms were physically similar, the teachers used different strategies and activities to appeal to the different age groups.

Summer Hill is already a village-like suburb in Sydney’s Inner West region, but there is more to this post code than atmosphere. It’s so close to Sydney’s CBD there’s no need to leave; everything you need can be found within the confines of this quaint suburb. If you want to go into the city, it’s only a 15 to 20-minute train ride. Most residents consider it to be one of the Inner West’s best kept secrets.
Hello parents of our upcoming class! It is an honor to be able to teach your 4 and 5 year olds this upcoming school year. This school was founded in the year 2016 by, the school’s principals, Dr. Kaydriana Simpson ph.d and Dr. Morgan Tinsley M.d; Phd. The two created this preschool to educate the extraordinarily gifted toddlers. Your children were invited to come to this school due to outstanding recommendations and scored high enough on the little people advancement test ,or LPAT, to be accepted. This school only allows 5 children per classroom, therefore we could only accept 110 students.
Figure 1.3 reveals that the business is in a central location of the city, with very strong road links. In terms of the bus stop, only Bluestar and Unilink buses stop at London Road (with the exception of the X5 Solent Ranger, but this stops at 08:08 only and heads only to Bedford Place). This means that many people using the majority of local First buses will have to get off at stops such as Castle Way or Vincent’s Walk, a fourteen-minute or twelve-minute walk to Chalk Valley, respectively. Most importantly, the number 1/2 bus (Bluestar) stops here, providing public transport for Chandler’s Ford, Eastleigh and all the way through to
Everything teachers plan and do should focus on the individual child. They tailor, adjust, and adapt the curriculum to fit each child in the program, rather than expecting children to fit the program (Elkind, 1987). It is imperative in a developmentally appropriate perspective that the curriculum and teaching methods be age appropriate, individually appropriate, and culturally appropriate (Bredekamp & Copple, 1997). This means considering and understanding similarities within an age group, and also recognizing each child’s individual differences. In a developmentally appropriate classroom, children are allowed to progress at their own rate, and both the curriculum and teaching strategies are relevant for all the children in the classroom. Thus, a great deal of flexibility is required, but this does not mean a total lack of structure and academics; rather, it means that the structure and academics of the program are based on individual and group needs and current understanding of child development (Raines, 1997).
Preschool classroom’s fosters an exploratory play environment for children ages four to five to prepare students for private school kindergarten courses and utilizes North Carolina kindergarten standards to develop curriculum. Cumberland County public school system does not have the best reputation for educating students and has created a need for more private schools. Currently, we only offer a preschool program but plan to expand into the elementary school ages. As the new school year approaches I will be redesigning the classroom environment and
It is located only 13 kilometres south of the Sydney CBD and is home to a vibrant mix of people. Here, you can find a diverse collection of natural, light industrial, residential, and commercial landscapes. With the approval of high density housing in approved areas, growth in the district has been relatively stable. Many tourists are especially attracted to the locale because of its proximity to the International Terminal of the Sydney Airport. It also features plenty of amenities to serve visitors and residents alike. These include King Street Mall, which has developed a good café culture, and Rockdale Plaza, which has been open since 1997. Other commercial developments can be found along the length of West Botany Street and Bay Street. There are a number of activities you can enjoy in this suburb. You can try duck feeding, bicycling, playing soccer, or walking around the Bicentennial Park, for instance. Or you can watch premier performances at the Town Hall. It’s worth dropping by St. George Tavern for a bottle of wine too. You don’t need to worry about how to get around because the neighbourhood is well serviced by trains and buses. If you prefer to travel by car, you can take major roads such as General Holmes Drive, Princes Highway, and the M5 Motorway. These all give you access to this great suburban area in New South

During my observations in the different classrooms at “The childcare Center”, I learned about the proper environment, the fundamentals of the teachers lesson plans, their health and safety regulations, their approach to guidance and discipline, and overall quality childcare. The center has eight different levels of age groups; each of them has their own curriculum based on their age and developmental needs. This curriculum changes and has a new theme each month that helps the lead teachers to be able to start their lesson plans each week. From infants all the way to pre-K the lesson plans include fine motor, gross motor, art and sensory, math and manipulatives, music and movement, language including both signing and Spanish.
