Sports are great to keep you in shape and to have fun but there is also a heavy risk of getting injured. Injuries such as pulling a hamstring or breaking an arm can lead to many complications. There are 2 injuries that are pretty common but they are some of the worst injuries. That is an ACL tear and a concussion.

Objective: Little leaguer’s should is the common name for proximal humeral epiphysiolysis. It is most common in youth throwing athletes because of their growth plates are more vulnerable to being injured. Youth baseball players are the demographic in which this injury is the most common. This study is important because it helps you see the predispositions for this injury and the sign and symptoms that can all help you find the best treatment. Female athletes can protect themselves through many stretches and prevention programs provided by their coaches, parents and Athletic Trainers. Many ACL tears can be protected by warm- up or cool-down programs or stretching (Ritter). The solution to preventing some of the ACL injuries is a strength and flexibility programs to strengthen the hamstrings, quadriceps and the core while stabilizing the knee (Busse). Working on the athlete’s techniques such as running, jumping and landing techniques can vastly improve their chances of ACL strength and would help prevent against tears (Malamut). Using an ACL prevention program teaches athletes how to align their hips for correct form and how to jump correctly without pain and without being knock-knee.

Injuries play a big role in an athlete's career and his or her overall health, although minor injuries are often nothing to worry about they can lead to something serious especially if the injury is repeatedly being aggravated. scrapes, cuts, bruises, and broken bones are all things to worry about. When a player is injured he or she is losing play time and money and why risk this when there is small but giant steps that can be taken to prevent injuries. But brain injuries are something much more serious even if the player says not to worry because something worse than losing playtime is losing your life.
