MILLERSBURG — As printed in white on their black t-shirts, the Rowe family advocated for “Justice for Jimmy.”
While they said they agreed to a plea deal that permitted Bobbi Amos-Camacho to plead guilty to an amended charge of voluntary manslaughter, rather than murder, which carried the potential of life in prison, they asked Holmes County Common Pleas Judge Robert Rinfret to impose the maximum 11 year sentence.
Speaking on behalf of Shelby Amos, the only child born out of the relationship between Jimmy Rowe Jr. and Amos-Camacho, Wendy Friday said the girl she considers her “other daughter” has endured great pain in her life.
She said she lacked a stable home environment, was kept from her father for many years, was removed from the custody

Camacho did for Shelby was give her life.”
“Ms. Camacho had a long history of thinking of no one but herself,” she said, adding, Amos-Camacho “took him out of her life, permanently this time.”
She referred to the maximum sentence of 11 years as “paltry” and “an incredible miscarriage of justice.”
Moving forward, Friday said, “I am Shelby's mom. When Shelby gets married, I will be there. When Shelby has kids and is the amazing mom we all know she will be, they will call me grandma. And when Ms. Camacho is released I will be there doing everything possible to prevent her from ever hurting Shelby and her family ever again.”
Rowe's aunt, Brenda Raber, disputed suggestions her nephew was physically abusive to Amos-Camacho. “Jimmy was the light of the family. Everybody dearly loved him. He was every female's protector in the family.”
She asked Amos-Camacho how she could “ruin so many lives.”
“It shows what a cruel and evil person you are,” said Raber, turning to Rinfret, adding, “She sentenced Jimmy to death, the least she can get is 11 years. Give Jimmy some justice because he can't be here for us. I'm begging you do what's right for

In this article by Jennifer Medina, I observed that males tend to be more logical. Once they agreed with their wives to stay at home to take care of the house and children they would do it without complaining. Generally man are more laid back with everything they do, so they wouldn’t have a problem staying at home with the children. Some of the women encouraged their husbands to do things how they would do them. For example, one of the women suggest that her husband should set up play dates with other parents for their children to play together. I also think that women have a tendency of getting stressed more, primarily because they take on to many task and do not give themselves time to relax and recuperate. Ms. Jackson-Champlain expresses
The kind of abuse she goes through is subtler and not as easy to observe. She experiences neglect throughout the whole novel. Her kind of neglect is from having an absent father. In the beginning of the novel the narrator is meeting with her family and waits for her father throughout the entire timeline until the very end. At the end when Maximo finally shows up, the narrator finally learns her name. her family, at least grandmother Barbara should have known her name. she learns her name is Baba, her word of comfort. Her father is there only long enough to name her and give her a picture of herself, stating that it is her grandmother. Once he leaves he does not come back, even though he had promised that he would. She waits for him all night to comeback, but he never does. This is not as obvious of an abuse as Chico, but such events can cause a person to become detached and afraid of commitment later in

Another point that I have learnt this divorce process and Jessica’s problem is that her husband moved out of state for a while. However, it was for only eight-months. While shadowing her case management session, I learnt that if her husband had been out of state for one year she would have automatically got full-custody of her children, however, he returned before the year was up.
