MILLERSBURG — As printed in white on their black t-shirts, the Rowe family advocated for “Justice for Jimmy.”
While they said they agreed to a plea deal that permitted Bobbi Amos-Camacho to plead guilty to an amended charge of voluntary manslaughter, rather than murder, which carried the potential of life in prison, they asked Holmes County Common Pleas Judge Robert Rinfret to impose the maximum 11 year sentence.

She referred to the maximum sentence of 11 years as “paltry” and “an incredible miscarriage of justice.”
Moving forward, Friday said, “I am Shelby's mom. When Shelby gets married, I will be there. When Shelby has kids and is the amazing mom we all know she will be, they will call me grandma. And when Ms. Camacho is released I will be there doing everything possible to prevent her from ever hurting Shelby and her family ever again.”
Rowe's aunt, Brenda Raber, disputed suggestions her nephew was physically abusive to Amos-Camacho. “Jimmy was the light of the family. Everybody dearly loved him. He was every female's protector in the family.”
She asked Amos-Camacho how she could “ruin so many lives.”
“It shows what a cruel and evil person you are,” said Raber, turning to Rinfret, adding, “She sentenced Jimmy to death, the least she can get is 11 years. Give Jimmy some justice because he can't be here for us. I'm begging you do what's right for
