The time we had together was short. Unbelievably short. Somehow the three of us became inseparable. I honestly thought I was just a bystander in this story. I never knew how involved I would be in their lives and how deeply my love for them would grow in my heart. Happily for them as refugees, but sadly for our growing friendship, they were both transferred to other cities in Greece.
