Single Subject Design In Children

I choose to use a single-subject design for measuring child outcome change. The single-subject design is known as three-factor model. This design creates an uncontrolled baseline, then initiates a baseline, then initiates an intervention, and ultimately go back to an uncontrolled baseline condition (Brown, Pryzwansky and Schulte, 2011). The specific single-subject design, I used in this case study was the ABA design. This type of design has a single result measure. According to Brown, Pryzwansky & Schulte (2011), ABA design compares the effects of one intervention. The A stands for antecedents, B stands for behaviors, C stands for consequences and the ABC can provide functional information regarding behavioral in a particular setting. This
