Mark is looking for a part time job around 20 hours a week, with $16 per hour pay. Social workers are faced with different dilemmas each and every day. It is a social workers job to be committed to their jobs and committed to their clients. Social workers are those people who are interested in helping people and helping to improve their lives. All help isn’t good help. Some of the things that social workers decide to do with their clients end up being unethical. As we explore the Jones case study, there are several different unethical decisions that were made. There are a few different dilemmas throughout the case study. Confidentiality, receiving gifts from clients and their family, social media, and also developing relationships (dual relationships). It important for social workers to have the resources such as the NASW and the standards of practice manual. The code gives us a set of values, principles, and standards to guide decision making and conduct when ethical issues arise.

However, she realized in attempting to provide alone has not only become very strenuous, but also quite costly. At hours on June 26, 2016, I, Cpl. Lessane, along with Deputy Wright, with the Hampton County Sheriff’s Office, responded to 2863 Two Sister Ferry Road, in the county of Hampton, in regards to a disturbance incident. Upon arrival, deputies spoke with the complainant, Susan Wells, who stated a yellow aggressive lab, chased her and her husband while riding their bicycle on Two Sister Ferry Road. Deputies attempted to make contact with the dogs and its own, no contact was made.
When therapist met with the Client at school, therapist did check in client reporting any behavioral issues or conflict at home or at school and client reported that he is sometimes fighting with his sister at home around toys or her room because he wants to enter her room and play with her belongings and his sister does not allow him do do that 7Xs/week out of 7Xs/week. The client reported that he was not fighting at all at school, but the class teacher 3 warnings because he does not follow the class rules and he speaks without permission or taking turn. Virginia is a 50 years-old white Caucasian female widow, who lost her husband 18 months ago at the age of 56 years. She lives in suburbs with her 50 years old son who face challenges with intellectual disability. She is active and able to take care of her son who has mental challenge. Virginia has frequently visited her primary doctor as result, of the symptoms she is expiring on daily bases. These symptoms are indicated as early signs of depression in older adults; which might be as a result of grieving over the death of her husband, and in cooperation of taking care of her son.
Reason for Referral: Peter John, a 47-Year-Old-Latino male, was referred to the mental health social worker at Primary Care Northside by the clinic’s head physician. Peter is currently living with his wife and two children (Paul M/17 and Zoe, F 10). Pater and his wife have been arguing over parental issues and finances since Paul expressed interest in out-of-state colleges. Peter works as a computer engineer at a large company for 20 years and is a respected colleague at the company. Recently, Peter has suffered from frequent stomachs and headaches, which finally lead him to Primary Care Northside for a doctor’s visit.
John, age three illustrates tremors and cries uncontrollable. John look as if he is not speaking as he should for his age. His vocabulary is very limited as if he is behind for his age. He is at this time not walking on the level that he should be. John lived with both of his biological parents. In addition, John has not had much structure in his life because he did not have many rules to abide by. Due to the lack of structure, John did not have a set routine of what time to go to bed and he could wonder the house freely. John’s father has had several job. In addition, John’s father also stays out late at night, selling drugs and manufacturing methamphetamines within the home. Even though John’s father sold drugs, there is no reports on him using drugs. In addition, manufacturing drugs in the home may have lead John to be exposed to drugs, which can have an effect on the child’s development. Due to Johns father’s actions, he was arrested leaving John not having a father figure in his life.
Henry is a 21 years old collge student, he is an international student from China, he was born in China and live with his parents until he was 17 years old.Henry is now living in a shared house. Henry reported that he did not have any health problem in his childhood. Recently Henry feels he has been really depressed and he has trouble fall asleep at night. Because he feels he can not do well at school also his parents doesn’t understand him, he feels he can’t focus in class and easily got distracted when doing homework. Henry stated he always doing many tasks at the same time, but normally can’t finish them.
