One area of the South Burlington High School Mission Statement is “inspiring lifelong learning.” I can confidently say that I am inspired to pursue lifelong learning. I believe knowledge is the key to success, no matter what how each individual chose to continue their lives. Even the basic skills in life require some knowledge in order to be achieved. I believe that tutoring others was an experience that demonstrates the inspiration of learning. Because the students were pursuing help in education which shows their yearn for learning. One area of the Mission Statement that I have not experienced is building the “character to create a successful and responsible life.” I have not engaged myself in any activities within school that allowed me
The FFA mission statement reads “Learning to Do, Doing to Learn, Earning to Live, Living to Serve”. The Columbia City FFA Chapter worked to fulfill this mission statement by embarking in a new community service project called Read to Feed with the Indiana FFA Association and Heifer International. Through this program, FFA members were provided the opportunity to impact first grade elementary students by heightening their awareness of international agricultural issues through service and literacy. The chapter partnered with first grade classes from Little Turtle and Coesse Elementary Schools. The first grade students read and recorded their reading minutes, while FFA members were out advocating the event to local businesses to gain their support
The foundation of an organization and related programs is the mission statement. The purpose of a mission statement is to define who the organization is, and provide a framework for ensuring that each decision aligns with the mission of the organization. Creating a mission statement gives employees a sense of direction and purpose for the organizations and programs within the organization (Walker, 2012). This paper addresses the importance of identifying preliminary information prior to gathering data to evaluate the program, a discussion of theory and processes involved in developing performance indicators, a discussion of theory and process involved in designing questions to guide the evaluation plan, and research-based rationale for tool
I am very excited to have the opportunity work on this year's yearbook. I believe that yearbook will be a great experience, working together as a team to make a book that people will look at for years to come is just very inspiring to work hard and make a good book. I love meeting new people and being active in school activities, yearbook is a great way to do that. I have made many scrapbooks before but never on the computer, I am excited to learn something new. I take pride in my work and everything I do, my mission on the yearbook staff would be to do everything I can do to make it the best book it can be. I am thrilled to work with my classmates to complete this year’s yearbook.

From 1987-1997 I was an employee at Franklin High school. I served in variety of departments throughout the school community, which included the alternative education and curriculum/ media departments. In addition, I tutored students with disabilities, worked closely with ESL and honor students facilitating a peer/student Lauchach reading program. As an advisor for a Franklin High School community service club entitled AGS/AFM, I worked with students in many aspects involving fund raising. Together we developed an annual fashion show that the school community looked forward to each year. Other capacities of service at Franklin included working with their drug and alcohol group, volunteering my help with track and field. In addition, I was elected by the student body as a member of the Franklin staff to serve in a program called “The Franklin Friends.” This program encouraged and trained leaders who encouraged an environment of open, friendly and safe communication that would ultimately serve the student/staff throughout the school population.
Routt Catholic High School will give me many opportunities to improve my character that are not provided to me at public schools. Education is one of my top priorities when looking into which school is best for me. Sports are also a major deciding factor in my choice of school. Lastly, culture is very different in a private school than in a public school and that is something I am interested in pursuing. I have thought long and hard about the differences of Routt and my own public high school.
In Marywood University’s mission statement, it says that the University “roots itself in the Catholic intellectual tradition, the principle of justice, and the belief that education empowers people” it goes on to say that the University “integrates an enduring liberal arts tradition and professional disciplines to create a comprehensive learning experience.”(Marywood University) As an incoming architecture student, one may ask how a liberal arts tradition could be paired with the disciplined field of architecture. In order to understand this seemingly odd relationship, you must dig deeper into the core values of the University. During the Orientation Weekend that was held before the start of the Fall Semester, incoming students were exposed
Currently I am not working in a library. I teach 6th grade in an elementary school so I do not have my own vision statement to examine. As I set off to try and find a local vision statement to examine I quickly because frustrated because there are very few schools in my school district that even have a library web page, so I was not able to find even one library mission statement or vision statement online for my district. There were a few schools that did post a mission statement for the school, but I was looking for one specific to the library. I am assuming that theses are not available because they do not exist. I would imagine that if you took the time to create one you would certainly want to post it on your library web page. I also tried finding a vision statement for my local public library and once again I didn’t have any luck finding one on their web page.
A personal mission statement provides clarity and gives you a sense of purpose. It defines who you are as a person and how you will live. A personal mission statement doesn’t have to be very long, it can be a: sentence, motto, quote, etc. An example of a personal mission statement would be John W. North High School’s, which is “John W. North High School is a diverse community which strives to develop compassionate life-long learners who are college and career ready and will make a positive impact in a global society.” I have many values that are very important to me.
Reviewing the Adler University mission statement as it relates to my chosen industry there are many ways to incorporate the vision of Alfred Adler. Studying Criminology is developing a process to engage members of the community in which they live to show an active interest in the happenings of their community. Although, being a socially responsible member of society is voluntary; it is going above and beyond. Promoting the idea that it is better to be proactive towards the problem rather than reactive. Criminology goes beyond the study of criminal behavior but it looks at how race, ethnicity, education, culture, environment and socioeconomic status can influence criminal behavior. Crime effects American culture as a whole. When the community

I instantly felt connected to Make School as soon as I read, “We’re building the college experience we wished existed, one where our students love coming to school every day and are passionate about their work.” Today, many colleges do not necessarily prepare students for the real world and how to achieve career success. Make School thrives off creativity, empathy, passion, and drive to ensure their students will have a positive school experience. Working for Make School would be the perfect company for me to put my passion and enthusiasm for mentoring others to good use. The mission and values that Make School exhibits are what I highly value in a workplace environment.
