Calling all native Miamians I'm making a list of foods and places of interest for everyone who is new to Miami. For the food list, I need the name of the food (obviously), it's country's origin, and what's in the food. In the list, I will include how to pronounce its name, if it’s in Spanish, for our Non Spanish speaking brothers and sisters. For places of interest: a name, location, and why you recommend it, is all I need. I will also make a list of some basic Spanish words as I heard the many people encounter many people here who did not know English. I'm hoping that this list will help make the transition to Miami life much easier.
It was very good, because they have a bunch of seafood places. The one thing I enjoyed the most was a type of pasta I had everyday. It was like Fettuccine Alfredo and it had chicken in it. It had a Cajun taste to it. The other thing I had was a really good, it was a baked mac n cheese souffle. For desserts we had this pastry item and it was called a beignet. It was a piece of fried dough with powdered sugar on top and you would get three of them. They were the most delicious things in the world. They would just melt in your mouth, with the dough so creamy and the powdered sugar on
By far my the place I most love to go to and be at is Mexico. The city which i go to when i’m in mexico is called Morelia Michoacan, Mexico and I town I stay at is called Noriega. Noriega isn’t really near a big city it’s near other small towns but the other towns are a bit far away so you can say it is kind of secluded. In the town the roads and houses aren’t as nice as the ones here the houses in Noriega are made a brick and the most of the flooring is tile instead of wood flooring or carpet. Another difference is that you don’t get much water to take a shower so we take a shower when the water reaches the house and also not many of the kitchens have sinks they usually have something called “pilas” which is a cement like rectangle which you
When first beginning this assignment, I thought of choosing Vietnamese food because I miss having Vietnamese food for most of my meals, which was a luxury when I lived at home with my parents. Also, I have not fully prepared a Vietnamese dish or meal myself, as cooking never appealed to me. However, as I thought more about it, I would just be returning to the comforts of what I had already known instead of challenging myself and expanding my experiences. Eventually, I decided to pursue learning more about the Hispanic food culture because I greatly enjoy Hispanic food, whether it is Americanized Hispanic foods such as burritos or enchiladas from restaurants like Taco Bell or La Paz, or traditional, authentic foods I have had at my Hispanic friends’ houses. I love exploring the infinite variety of ethnic dishes this world has to offer, but I do not pay much attention exactly to what I am eating, what is in it, and how to prepare it myself. This assignment gave me the opportunity to go out and adventure into Guerrero’s Market on 11th and G street. I brought David with me, a friend from Honduras who has exposed me to most of the authentic hispanic foods I have eaten. I decided to make ceviche, and the two ethnic ingredients not used in mainstream American cuisine I selected were avocados and tostadas.
The place I choose was Monument Valley, why because of how spectacular and diverse it is in biodiversity and how majestic it is in landscape. Since Stagecoach was filmed there in 1938, it has been a popular location for many feature films and television commercials. The place is usually used for filming location for Western movies because of the landscape.
Mexican cuisine is a style of food that originates in Mexico. It is known for its varied flavors, colorful decoration, and variety of spices and ingredients, many of which are native to the country. What makes a meal distinctly Mexican, of course, are the lively seasonings. Not all Mexican recipes are fiery, though; while renowned for their heat, many subtle and intriguing spice combinations are also found in Mexican fare.

My favorite place is San Clemente in California. I remember my first time going there falling in love with that town. I have a friend who invited me to come over his house, and I went two years ago. Since that occasion San Clemente turned into my favorite place to be. In this paper, I am going to explain a little bit of the background of this story. When I first got here I remember passing hard times as an international student since I could not get use to speaking the language, living in a different country and living a different life style. During my first week in school in The United States I knew a friend from California whom always hang out with, so was on spring break when I got to go to San Clemente for the first time in my entire life. I will describe further how is that place like and why is my favorite.
Before the show begins, everyone was sitting around waiting on someone ti give us permission to eat the snack that was prepared for this event. Once one person got up, so did everyone else. The snack that was prepared for us were Mexican food. The Mexican food that was provided for us was avocado, cheese, and much more. I didn't enjoy the food because I'm not a big fan of Mexican food. I did enjoy the lemonade and cheese. After everyone was done eating there, the show begin. At the beginning of the show, there was a speaker named Ricky. Ricky was the coach of this dance. He taught this dance team everything he knew. First, he started off by telling us where we were from, places he has been, and much more. He also talked about his dance team
Mexican cuisine, a style of food that originates in Mexico, is known for its varied flavors, colourful decoration and variety of spices and ingredients, most of which are native to the country. The cuisine of Mexico has evolved through thousands of years of blending indigenous cultures, with later foreign elements added after the 16th century. In November 2010, Mexican cuisine was added by UNESCO to its lists of the world's "intangible cultural heritage"

bananas, and rice. Their dishes are traditionally spicy and natural. I learned many things from the students
During the sessions in court, I noticed FAST had no reasons for firing me. They claimed that I stole the Spanish lunches. It is a pity to see them managing the situation in such manner for two reasons. First, they fired me for no reason and instead of admitting their mistake like adults, they file a false case against me. Second, they had no documentations, which means the lack the basic understanding of doing business in a civil society.
My side of the family is mexican and I can’t recall my side of the family having a mexican christmas dinner. However since we have Christmas Eve and day at my grandma’s house we have an Italian style dinner. My Nana and her prepare the food from scratch, and since it’s Christmas Eve they prepare a seafood dinner. They make regular seafood like octopus, lobster tails, fried shrimp, and other fish if they please. My sister and I love fried shrimp, but as for my mother she does not love any kind of seafood. So she always hears this from someone at some point, “Your favorite!” Mother then gets this smile from ear to ear because she knew she was going to hear that.
This project shows the development of Mexican Cuisine through the history until present, and discuss about how this cuisine can be improved in the future.
The earliest settlers of Spain include the Iberians, the Celts, and the Basques groups. Then the Phoenicians came, who were later followed by the Greeks, who ruled Spain until they were defeated by the Romans. The last of the settlers to arrive were armies of Arabs and Berbers, whom were called Moors. Fascinated with water, they developed irrigation systems and planted citrus and almond trees in eastern and southern Spain.
