On September 9, 2015, my fellow classmates were assigned to go to Museum of Natural History. Dr. Ferdinand asked the class to go Spitzer Hall: Exhibit-Human Biology and Evolution. She asked the class to choose a topic from the hall, and write a term paper on that particular subject. On November 5, 2015, I arrived at the Museum of Natural History. After getting a ticket to see the halls. I went to find Spitzer Hall, which took some time to find because I was busy looking at other halls such as the Hall of African Mammal, hall of Biodiversity, and Ocean life etc.. This took me about an hour and a half to reach my destination. Arriving at Spitzer Hall, the first thing I noticed was three skeletons of human evolution. Each skeleton had a different form than the other. The skeleton showed how the chimpanzee, modern human, and Neanderthal were different to each other. Evolution is the theory that all living things form an ancient ancestor. Evolution is the process in which species have changed over time. Evolution mostly occurs when adapting to an environment. It happens when the gene is passed or inherited to future generations. When the mutation is passed on, the change helps living organism to survive and reproduce.
