President John F Kennedy had been assassinated. “A lot of people thought he [Lee Harvey Oswald] wasn’t the only shooter and the government was involved too. But Ruby shot Oswald, so we never found out.” She thinks the most probable cause of the shooting was the he wanted to end the Vietnam War, which was a big money-maker.
