In the short story All Summer in a Day, Ray Bradbury uses symbolism to show the reader the children’s emotions. The sun they always are talking about symbolizes happiness. The only time the children are really happy is when the sun comes out. It could be argued that there is good examples of description in this story. But I feel the symbolism is more prominent.
