Alarming trends and lapses in property accountability have elevated concerns of the usanato bde commander and warrants reemphasis of the army’s campaign on property accountability. Per references, the department of the army directed participation in this campaign, spanning from unit level to the highest levels of our army where resourcing decisions are made. The usanato bde’s campaign will re-establish and reinforce the good supply discipline and property accountability practices vital to plan, execute, and sustain, full-spectrum operations. 2. (fouo) phase iia (13 jan 17-ongoing) (copa reporting), phase ii(a) began 1 oct 16. Units will report 1qtr fy17 copa reports on 13 jan 17 and each subsequent qtr after. Each battalion has templates and reporting requirements for this report. Usanato bde g4 is available to assist is there are any questions or issues with completion. Phase ii(b) (1 apr 17-utc) (usanato bde g4 compliance assurance updates). Phase ii(b) begins on 1 apr 17 and ends when all units are in compliance. During phase ii(c) inspections for compliance will be conducted by usanato bde g4 team to validate unit compliance. During this phase, there will be no assistance provided to units-only inspections. These inspections will include checks of all unit areas (facilities, containers, cubbyholes, etc.) To verify proper accountability, validate authorizations, documentation, and confirm supply practices. Unit commanders will be out-briefed and findings reported to the usanato bde g4 and shared with the brigade command
