• My recommendation for TCHD is TCHD has a partnership with ED in order to educate asthmatic patients about how to control asthma in a proper way.
• TCHD implements survey in order to identify the reasons of asthma attacks among asthmatic patients in Zip Code 65616(Branson). This survey should include the economic status, education level, health insurance, housing, smoking prevalence and second hand smoking, and evaluating air quality in-door and out-door.
On our honor, we pledge that we have neither given nor received any unauthorized assistance on this case study
In this paper, I will explore asthma prevalence of children living in New York City. Asthma is an existing serious public health concern in inner cities and urban environments. Especially children with asthma from low SES families or minority groups face difficulties accessing health care, receiving high-quality continuous care, and preventative education. In other words, there is a disparity in the asthma prevalence and care in New York City.
In a study of 92 former NFL players, it was found that a total of 88 (96%) of them were afflicted with chronic traumatic encephalopathy, or CTE (Tyler). With such a high percentage of former NFL players suffering from this disease, one would think solid efforts would be being put forward towards a cure, or that a cure may even have already been found. But this is not the case. Very little is known about this disease, and there is no known cure for it yet. As the leading influence in the game of football, the NFL has the moral responsibility to fund research and put forth an effort towards reducing the risk of and eventually eliminating head trauma in the game of football.
After I read your post,I looked at the good and bad "asthma cities" on AAFA.org. I discovered that Oklahoma City was ranked the fifth worst in 2015. I knew a couple of kids growing up that had asthma and no longer have it now. I've always heard of some people outgrowing asthma and epilepsy.
Tysheed is afraid to asked for help. I believe that he feels like if he asked someone is going to think that he is stupid. He is proficient in math. He loves sciences, and gym. However, he struggles with ELA. Tysheed has never repeated a grade. He is truly a scholar.
Communication barriers exist between parent, school nurse, and healthcare provider. School staff feel unprepared for asthmatic attacks, especially since they are not told which students have a condition. No policies or protocols are in place to guide staff in what to do when a situation occurs. Staff are unsure when a student is responsible enough to be self-reliant. Limitations include, not having a representative sample from all the school districts. Also, only two healthcare providers answered questionnaires and they were from the same medical centers hosting study. In addition, participants were paid $30 for their time, which could influence who
The most important result of this project is that there is a relationship between the zip code (65616) and increase asthma-related ER visits and inpatient hospitalizations versus the other zip codes in Taney County in Missouri State.
A screening template can be developed that can assist the nurse in performing a thorough assessment of an asthmatic patient. This questionnaire should be at an appropriate education level and question should be simple and direct. The questions should focus on the presence or absence of symptoms, activity limitations, exacerbations, missed workdays, and frequency of use of prescribed medications.
Encourage parents to provide up to date information about their child with asthma, and keep this information in a known, central location

Asthma is marked by recurrent episodes of airway obstruction, which reverses either spontaneously or once the individual receives medication and the condition is usually associated with bronchial hyper responsiveness together with chronic airway inflammation. Most asthma cases are mild and are easily diagnosed and treated by family general practitioners (GPs). However, severe asthma cases are more difficult to treat. The disease can start at any age but in most cases first symptoms occur during childhood. The disease is more prevalent in children (10-15%) than adult 5-10%): in children it is more common in males and in adults it is more common in females (Martinez and Vercelli 2013). Asthma is strongly associated with
The last patient utilized an alternative approach to create a TET. This patient was an adult with recurrence of primary tracheal carcinoma previously treated with chemo and radiation therapy. The tumor extended from above the carina into both the right and left main bronchus deeming it inoperable. The patient decided upon utilizing a TE approach to resect the tumor and transplant it was a synthetic scaffold. A POSS-PCU polymeric, synthetic scaffold was created based on the patient’s tracheal tumor involvement. MNCs were seeded onto the scaffold in-vitro along with injections of recombinant human transferring growth factor, G-CSF and epoetin. Postoperatively the patient was also given administrations of G-CSF and epoetin. Follow-up results
Thanks for the recommendations. The protocol already has a CRF created to indicate that informed consent & eligibility requirements are met including if a patient withdrawal from the study of if a death occurred. I’ve attached the forms to this message.
