It is fascinating that no human in this world would turn his or her head away from happiness, it seems everyone is in searching for the path that leads to it. In many ways this is how religion was formed, from a basic belief in an afterlife to a more advanced development such as ancestral worship, polytheism, or even monotheism. One of the largest religion of today takes it’s form in monotheism; Christianity. In many ways the goals and practices is similar to the teachings of the Buddha. The fundamental principles of both religions are about being on the path to a happier place.
Both Buddhism and Christianity have their own tenants that drive their beliefs. In Buddhism, it is the Four Noble Truths and the 8-Fold Paths. The Four Noble Truth is like talking to a doctor when you’re ill. It starts with the symptoms that we live is to suffer, then it moves on to find the cause of it; desire. The Pentecost is generally defined as the Church’s birthday; after Jesus Christ was resurrected the Spirit brings the church into existence with the support of the followers of Jesus.
