Looking back at the amount of writing I’ve done for AP Literature, I can see growth in my understanding of poetry and of literature. There are skills and concepts that I need to focus on and refine as I continue on through the class, but I am confident in the abilities that I have picked up so far.

‘AP’ World History is a unique course and has introduced me to educational material that is close to what you would expect in a university. Our class has looked at history in a way I haven’t ever before. History is one of my favorite subjects, as learning about the past, although tedious at times, is very interesting. After taking ‘AP’ World History, I have discovered the true “reality” of the world and how it relates to the world we live in today. Being introduced to my first ‘AP’ class this year has made me excited to take addition “AP’ classes as I continue my high school career and has significantly increased my overall excitement for
The Capstone class made me realize that all of my hard work in the RN-BSN program was evident in my ability to prepare an educational project that showed all of knowledge that I had acquired. Specifically, the Capstone project in Module 5, put all of the knowledge that I have acquired with RN-BSN coursework into successfully researching and creating an educational presentation (Boyd, 2017). This class has allowed me to see significant changes in my thought process and gave me the confidence to continue my desire for learning, researching, understanding, and educating
AAA course gave me a profound knowledge and helped me in time management. It also gave me a hint how I adapt the college culture and institutional integration. This course covers broad areas. The fixed and growth mind set, creator and victim mindset are some of the topic section that I am very interested to know. The teaching not only gave a chance to pass the course but also to adjust myself in personal management especially on time and resource management. The course also gave me an opportunity to improve my academic skills and to build relationship with my classmates and faculty workers. AAA became a bridge that connected and prepared me for the next advance course .The course showed me how I committed for my goal and dreams.
Why do I want to take an AP class? The reason I decided I want to take AP English is because I wish to expand my knowledge of reading and writing. Furthermore, English has always been my favorite class and I've always been interested in a career connected to the subject. Even more, I have always done extremely well in my other English classes and I feel that I could be very successful taking an AP class. I’m currently enrolled in an honors English class so I am prepared for the next step up. I’m excited to be able to learn more about English and improve my skills as a reader and writer. Not only am I super hardworking, but I also won’t give up. For example, I will be able to complete large amounts of work and difficult assignments. I really
I am an academic thrill seeker; I search out and thrive in fast-paced, high-octane learning experiences. In these situations, I am able to test and tweak my creative and critical thinking skills, fine-tuning my learning styles and methods. It was for this reason that I chose to pursue AP courses,
I believe that the AP program is a good fit for me. It is good for me because I want to learn and become a pilot. Becoming a pilot is my biggest dream. I have always loved planes and I believe that for me to be able to become a pilot I should take this program. The AP program pushes students to their limits and goes beyond them. AP also helps students achieve their goals and become successful in life. I want to be challenged as much as possible so I can pass those challenges and achieve my goal. I have much strength in academic subjects, for example: in math, science and social studies. I want to improve my weak points in some academic areas by going to the AP program. I don’t really play music but I am sure that if I try my best I would be
The youth needs someone to reiterate how much potential they have. When I walk in the halls of my high school I see kids that either want to go to school or the ones that would rather be somewhere else. I know it may seem cliché of me to say that education is power, but the statistics don't lie. Nestled in everyone is a unique talent that cannot be replicated and I feel that today's youth don't understand their potential. Whether they're not interested or just shy in the classroom, there should be at least one topic that gets the students to raise their voices. In addition there is a huge gap between regular and AP courses. Some students in regular classes tend to pull out their phones and zone out. Few students in regular classes don't even
