Theo of the Four Tribes
Alberic’s figure, at the other side of the flames, perturbed Theo. He did not seem to be the traitor who had deceived the ethnic groups. His image was one of the benevolent mentor who opened his house to welcome Theo the first time he visited Arazi. “You doon’t understand, either?” Alberic asked with a tone of defeat and frowning.
Theo shook his head.
No, he did not understand.
What Alberic had done was not right. He wished to give life to a frightening army. He put the planet in danger and he wanted to dwarf the future of humans and they did not deserve that.
Alberic’s face, the arazi who had welcomed him, taught and respected him as an equal, the only adult that had not treated him like an immature child, appeared and disappeared on the other side of the fire. His face was begging.

The words of the spiritual guide sounded in his head.
Humans are bigoted.
Didn’t his village had imprisoned and abused Vrol? Ulder, the only human who had seen a member of the ethnic groups apart from Theo, had reacted violently to the unknown, to that which he did not understand, as Alberic himself had said.
He thought of the reaction of Zanhi’s hierarch when they rescued him, when he heard the story the theft of the sacred gems and he had the suus in front of him. Even then he did not want to accept the truth
They take whatever they can find with a total disregard towards the planet.

The Lenca tribe is the largest indigenous group still in Honduras with about a population of 100,000. Much of their culture has been lost, such as their language. But not everything has been lost and something that still thrives today is their pottery. This has survived time by generations of mothers passing down this artistry to their daughters. Although, today the pottery still maintains Lenca tradition, they also incorporate modern style. These vases, bowls, and pots are decorated with geometric designs and the use of spotting . Spotting traditionally is meant to represent the spots on the moon. The usual color combinations are black and white, dark orange and black, or coffee brown and black. The women are able to stay home and make pottery
The Hopewell people were a religious cult like civilization that lasted from 200 BC to 500 AD. Who flourished in Northeastern and Midwestern America around rivers. Some objects we have found from this civilization include a mica hand, pipes, copper spider, pots, copper falcons, and a bird head. They were actually first known as the Adena civilization, but later became the Hopewell.
Alden Nowlan in the story “The Fall of a City” demonstrates through imagery, foreshadowing, and dramatic irony that one should not openly judge another, as it can greatly impact the said person. Firstly, imagery is used when Teddy’s uncle makes a comment about Teddy, and Teddy compares his uncle’s face to an antagonist from his imaginary kingdom. For example, “He’s got his head in the clouds again. His uncle laughed mirthlessly. Out of the corner of his eye Teddy looked at his uncle’s round, florid face and reflected on the resemblance to Zikla, Duke of Anders” (Nowlan 32). Clearly, this quote illustrates Teddy’s reaction after hearing his uncle’s comments towards him as he did not acknowledge this in a positive way. Teddy’s uncle rudely laughs at him afterword which proves
The northern tribes used bones and deer antlers to make knives, scrapers, awls, fishing tools, whistles, and pendants. The first tribes denpended on agriculture were those that lived on the Atlantic Costal Plain. They learned how to make pottery and cloth. The cloth was woven with thread made from soft layers of splint baskets. They made musical instruments like pipers, rattles, drums, nd they were played during ruitals and ceremonies dances. They built two types of houses, long houses, and wigwams. The first type was formed by bending poles into a cone or dome shape and by tying the poles together with vines. The frame was covered with woven mats, bark, or hide . These people grew corn, squash, beans, pumpkins, and tobacco.
It was during the time period that Christ was born that the Anasazi Indians appeared in the Four Corners area which is the area where the boundaries of Arizona, Utah, New Mexico and Colorado meet. For the over a thousand years the Anasazi thrived and built their homes into the side of cliffs. These cliff dwellings could only be reached by climbing and made for a great defense system against enemies; some dwellings reached five stories in height and contained hundreds of rooms. Many of the elaborate cliff dwellings and terraced apartment houses built of stone, mud, and wood that dot the Four Corners region still stand today and date back to about 9,000 CE., but the people who comprised this desert culture did not begin to settle into an agricultural lifestyle until around A.D. 400. The Anasazi, which is a Navajo word meaning “the ancient ones”, likely received corn, squash and beans, which are a prime source of protein, added to their diet and the knowledge to raise them from their southern neighbors in Mexico. Vegetable crops provided a reliable food source that made an increase in population possible and also allowed time for other interests such as religion, art, ritual, public works and handicrafts. This allowed the Anasazi society continued to evolve and progress. The ancient ones also possessed beans, a prime source of protein and new varieties of corn. Other innovations included the bow and arrow which eventually replaced spears and at least two varieties of dogs
The importance of where a person comes from influences their views on other people. Even later on, the peasants from Fuenteovejuna refer to lineage and how they may not come from a great and well-known line of blood but their personalities and other characteristics worth praising become just as significant to these people. However it still has some effect on them. This brings up the topic of self-value and self-dependency from an overlord and the ability to think for one’s self. This self power revolves around the political and social period at the time, with the transition of the common person becoming to voice their opinions and somewhat choose what they want to believe in.

As many other tribe names, the name Tlingit means “the people”, or essential human being. The Tlingit are one of the many first nation tribes that lived and still currently live in Alaska. They live alongside many other tribes, which include the Northern Haida (Kaigani) and the Tsimshian (de Laguna 1: pp 13). The Tlingit have formed close ties with the Haida tribe. Though it is estimated that the Haida are a newer tribe to the area both tribes have common interests and have worked together to establish a Central Council; in 1935 which according to their website was originally established to deal with land issues on behalf of the tribes which relied on their lands for subsistence and survival (“About us” www.ccthita.org). Part of the need for the council is that unlike many tribes many tribes, particularly those of the lower the United
I chose to research the Oneida Nation Tribe of Indians of Wisconsin Elderly Heath Care. Here is a little background on the Oneida Nation of Wisconsin. They are located in Brown and Outagamie Counties. They are descendants of an indigenous Iroquoian-speaking nation that arose in the present-day central-western New York. The Oneida Tribe is a sovereign government. Oneida means “long awaited” and they spoke Oneida. Lastly, they have three clans: Turtle, Bear, and Wolf Clan. The Turtle Clan represents the shifting of the earth and the cycles of the moon. The people of this clan represent the well of information and the keepers of the land. The Bear Clan known as Medicine people, the healers. There are stories passed down about how the Bear
The Cherokee tribe is known as one of the earliest and largest Indian tribe in North America. They are federally recognized even today among several states(museum). While they slowly became Americanized by the Europeans who came over to America, some still practice their typical Indian rituals publicly today. Most converted to Christianity and their government in Oklahoma is based off the American government with three branches. One would believe that the Trail of Tears could have completely vanquished these Indians but many made it through the horrendous trial and kept the Indian bloodline going even present day (Conley).
Since Alden is the cousin of Jacobsen, he might be afraid to share information with a family member. He might be concerned that this news will be shared with other family members and if a poor decision was made by him, his family will look down on him or it will ruin his reputation.
Have you ever heard of the Cherokee Indians? Sure you have! Just as a reminder, they are the biggest tribe, and most known of out of all the Indian tribes there has ever been in the southeast. They are very important to American History and helped shaped us to be the Americans we are today, which is clearly what I 'll be explaining in this paper. Throughout the paper, I 'll tell you everything you need to know about the Cherokee Indians and continue to relate to the thesis.
