On september 9th 2015, at or about 0635 hours at the location of 2522 lincoln street apartment #336(crime location) which is located within the jurisdictional limits of the city of hollywood, within broward county and the state of florida the above named defendant did commit a battery upon the victim herein identified as antoinette reynolds. Reginald newsome did intentionally touch or strike antoinette reynolds against her will to wit; striking antoinette reynolds with an open hand, which made contact with the left side of the victims face. The above defendant also pushed the victim onto the floor inside the residence. Reynolds had intentionally caused bodily harm to antoinette reynolds. It should be noted that antoinette reynolds and reginald newsome are both in a romantic relationship and were residing as a family (approximately 3months).
On the above date and time i responded to above location in reference to a possible burglary in-progress. Upon further investigation, it was later revealed to be a domestic battery.
While approaching the apartment building, i was able to hear a woman screaming and a man shouting. When i arrived on the third floor the noises from both parties continued and i noticed there to be a an open front door that appeared to be damaged due to force entry. The purpose for writing this essay is to demonstrate how gentrification is shaping the Culture and identity for Halrmites from the socio-economic perspective. Harlem has changed dramatically over the last two decades due to improvement in housing stock and outside investments into the community. However, in my essay, I articulated my ideas toward the economic aspect of gentrification because gentrification is driven by class, not race. My audience would be the lower income Harlem residents who have been displaced or on the verge of displacement because their wealth is not contributing to the economy. The people who have been preserving the cultural identity of Harlem for decades now forced to leave the community. Upon arrival, we spoke to Clara Ashen (victim) who stated in effect on July 09, 2015 at approximately 1800 hrs and July 10, 2015 at approximately 0500 hrs Emmanuel Affil(defendant), who she lived with at 210 Bishop Bald, threatened to kill her.

Lundy reached the street and he told McCool "Fuck you" but she continued to follow him into the street. McCool approached Lundy in the street where she pushed him with both hands. Upon arrival, I made contact with the victim, who was identified as Manzo Silva, Alicia DOB 10/10/84. Alicia related that she spoke little English and felt more comfortable speaking Spanish. Ofc. Calderon #291 was dispatched to the scene to assist with translation. Alicia related that she has been dating Jorge for approximately one (1) year. Alicia related that Jorge has physical abused her in past on at least four (4) occasions. Alicia was unable to provide exact dates of the incidents. Alicia related on 12/03/17, she had a verbal altercation with Jorge because he thought she was cheating on him. Alicia related that Jorge damaged her cell phone (Galaxy 8) during the verbal altercation. Zuchel related to RO that she was sleeping in the living room when she was awoken by Friedt touching her. Zuchel related that she felt Friedt touching her breasts and touching her vaginal area. Zuchel related that Freidt went underneath her clothes to touch her. Zuchel related that Freidt never penetrated her. Upon arrival I made contact with Resident Advisor Serin Kauffmen (student/resident) Kandis Harris (student/resident). I asked Harris how many people were in the apartment, which Harris stated that there was three individuals and that one left before I arrived. I asked Harris if she was a resident of apartment #12107 which, she stated yes. I asked Harris if I can enter to the apartment which, Harris stated yes. Harris opened the front door and I entered the apartment and saw a female individual by the name of La Janeira Robison (student/resident/suspect) in the common area siting on the couch on a laptop. I advised Robison that I was called out to her apartment for possible underage drinking. I asked Robison if there was anyone else in the apartment which, Robison stated yes. I advised Robison to get her roommate.
During the investigation, as I made my way to the apartment, I observed Mr. Diongnes in the window of the apartment. After talking to Ms. Drummond and her clarifying that they were staying in Apartment K-13, I went and knocked on the door several times and received no response. While knocking on the door, the door would slowly start to open on each knock. As I was waiting, someone on the other side pushed the door closed then I could hear noises coming from behind the door. At this time, I identified myself as police and asked if they could open the door in order to get their side of the story. I was once again was met with no response. At this time, I went out and asked permission from Ms. Drummond to enter the apartment and she consented. As we pushed open the door we were met with a little resistance. problem in the Livingston Apartments. Students have been found smoking on fire stairs of the building where there are no smoke detectors present. These areas are usually fire proof so that is why they do not require the presence of any detection systems. Often you will find these areas smelling like cigarettes and Resident Assistants sending out scare emails about the fines if caught smoking. The problem with that is that there is no one to enforce these rules and fine students for such behavior. They are not scared of the Resident Assistants, because their power is in words rather than tickets.
