Support your conclusions with examples. I decided to write about the people in my work organization because it is an issue that I have to deal with every day of my life. I work in a large department which has a huge number of staff and my responsibility is doing payroll for all the classified, certificated and semi-monthly employees. It is a high-pressured job, involving a great deal of stress, with a hectic schedule and there are always deadlines to meet. Keywords: truthful, pursue justice [fairness for all], compassionate, develop partnerships, spirit of community
Whether People at My Work Organization Have These Five Values:
Truth, Justice, Compassion, Partnership and Community
Truthfulness. Let me start by saying that the people I work with are not very truthful and they like to bend the truth. The two people that interviewed me for my current job were the coordinator of our department and my immediate supervisor. During my interview they explained that my main and only responsibility would be doing payroll for the department. They also made it clear that I would be doing the time reporting for 300
The organizations values are to reflect the mission statement as closely as possible. They describe the core qualities of the organization as well as the actions and behaviors towards clients, employees, partners, community members, etc. The values that my organization will employ and portray are those showing the honesty, integrity, dedication, and loyalty to the clients, workers, and community. They will also portray the value of the employees to the successful treatment of the clients. The values will show the level of skill, knowledge, and expertise that the employees possess. Honesty is an important value to have because if a client knows the staff and organization is truthful the success rate will greatly increase because of its creditability. Conveying a strong value of honesty to clients as well as everybody else involved with the organization provides stability and admiration to the organization and the employees, showing a client who has severe trust issues that he or she can trust the staff who in the beginning is complete strangers that he or she will be able to build their trust issues with other people
Personal values, beliefs, and principles are important for individuals to know about themselves. However, when asked the question, “what are your personal values, beliefs, and principles?” The first response is often a laundry list of characteristics with the assumption that those three words are synonymous. From my experience when posed this question the laundry list became long and in retrospect, I began to wonder what the differences were between each of these terms. As a teacher, employee, mother, and Christian knowing these differences and how to answer the question is an important component of determining how I make decisions when faced with ethical dilemmas. Hence, began the investigation of how the terms relate, their meaning and what my answer is to this question. Since my laundry list was quite long for this essay, I will share and explain the top two elements for each category, how they relate to one another and how the knowledge influences tough decisions.
The degrees to which these values are upheld also pose as a challenge to management and employees. Although both parties may agree to these established values, employees may be faced by situations where their personal and cultural values may contradict with the degree as to which the organizational values are upheld. The main challenge here is setting priorities among the values and objectives of the organizations or the people involved. Making the best decision suitable for the situation and the people concerned requires critical analysis of the factors (values, objectives, and people) involved.
Professional values and ethics are the template in which we will follow as employees to carry ourselves within the expectations of

My job requires that I am personally responsible to uphold the statement of values in all areas of my work. I have to provide emotional and educational support and demonstrate a caring attitude towards others which is based on respect dignity and equality.
Promoting the same values across all working relationships: recognising respect, patience, honesty, reliability, resilience and integrity are qualities valued by children, young people, their families and colleagues.
Values and ethics are essential in the workplace. It establishes how a company is run and remains profitable. Leaders are the key to demonstrating and creating the organization’s culture, ethics and values. It has to start at the top of the organization including the Chief Executive officer, board and owners. Leaders’ internalization and manifestation of the values in how they operate have a great influence on the employees. Every organization must start with a foundation, a code of conduct, code of ethics and a statement of values ( Ferrell, O.C., John Fraedrich, and Linda Ferrell).
Out of all of Our Franciscan Values which include, reverence the unique dignity of each person, encourage a trustful, prayerful community of learners, serve one another, society, and the Church, foster peace and justice, and respect creation. Although it took me a good portion of the semester, I believe that I fully recognize and understand the importance of these values as well as how they are put into play every single day here at USF. The core/human values that I have put into action this semester include serve one another, society, and the Church as well as reverence the unique dignity of each person. While seem to correlate to each other as both can be carried out by someone at any given time. Throughout my first semester here at USF, I believe that these two values are the easiest to be put into play within our lives and fall hand in hand with one another.
It is important that you develop an awareness of what you value, as these values will be important in informing your relationships with clients, co–workers and employers.
For some values there are feeling accomplished after having successfully done the job, and even having to make solid, and hard, and even quick decisions that anyone would have to make, but just making the right call at the right time (“Interests and Values”1). The ones listed above would be great ones to have, but also in my interests some would be, working in all kinds of weather and conditions, and any type of animal. Some of the values that I would have are, working with different people, and possibly learning from them, or helping them, even teaching the peers around. Me, treating people well, and getting treated good shows that I’m a good coworker, also hearing some of the people’s story that they have been
Values are intangible things that are important to us, and that guide us, individually, to make decisions. Each person has a different set of values, morals, and ethics, which is the reason that each person handles a situation differently. Here, I will discuss my top 5 values, and why they are important to me.
I strongly believe in few values, which are hard work that is necessity to produce results, discipline that is necessity to finish task before deadlines and persistence that is necessity to sail through unproductive periods. My attempt throughout has been to inculcate these qualities in
Based on these responses, the common themes and key values would be good work quality, commitment, optimism and cheerfulness. From those responses, I firmly believe that most people who have worked with me in professional context view me as a hard-working, yet a cheerful person. However, there was one surprising response for me regarding the words that described me or my key value. The response was that I usually have high demand in work quality, meaning that I am a perfectionist.
Values often use modified methods and styles; I have utilized these different ethics in my career, which has aided me in improving, the environment at work and in my life. Having these particular skills of approaching situations causes an optimistic environment, respect for others, honesty, and reliable outcomes. I have had the comfort of knowing whether, you’re working or at home or out in public, individuals appreciate this kind of merit. These values cause high points in your character with families, patients and your colleagues. Real richness comes from knowing you’re assisting patients with top-quality care, and these goals are obtainable. Identification of these values prepares an
