The Future of a Post-Brexit Britain

Section One: Britain’s Place in the world. What is needed?
First of all, a complete re-orientation of British foreign policy is needed. This reorientation is needed to guarantee Britain’s place in the world, for example being among the richest and most efficient economies and most diplomatically powerful nations.
But what must the government commit themselves to? The government must commit themselves to a full exit from the European Union and ask for no quarter during the negotiations. The end result absolutely has to be a Britain that is fully independent of the European Union and the Common Market. With this being said, if Britain must leave the European Union without a comprehensive trade agreement that guarantees this, then a temporary backtrack to trading under the existing WTO rules may very well be required.
Britain must find herself in a new world, able to form her own laws and trade agreements without fear of interference from Brussels or any other foreign power. It is through only this that Britain may hope to be, once again, a world power.
