Discipline means follow rules to be worked hard by someone in the interest of teaching something to the student. Discipline is taught in many places in many ways. I was taught discipline at a school that studied the art of taekwondo. This school helped me with my shyness and confidence problem. Without Euns Martial Arts Center I would not be the person I am today. My first year of taekwondo taught me the meaning of discipline. Joining this school was one the best decisions I ever made.
I can never forget the day I decided this was the thing I wanted to do. It was a sunny day and my dad and I were wondering around Knoxville when we came upon EMAC. My dad had decided that I needed something to help me with my lack of confidence so we walked through that door. I was amazed as we sat there and watched the class. There were colorful belts and at the end they fought each other with pads on their legs and arms. After they bowed and shook hands with the teacher and his assistants. He walked over to where we were sitting.
”Welcome!" he said with a Korean accent. My dad introduced himself and I did the same. Then we followed him to a room in the back of what looked like a padded room where the class had just practiced. I didn't know it then it said OFFICE. I was amazed by the Korean artifacts. He and my dad talked like what seemed like an hour. Then I tried on uniforms they were white and felt like itchy paper on my skin ,but it fit. We then said good bye to the teacher and went on

The Oxford Dictionary defines discipline as “orderly and obedient behaviour”. It is a standard of respect for other members of your team and hierarchy (an organisation which ranks people according to the power they hold), which involves being able to follow rules and orders, and having self-control. All ranks are expected to show discipline; no matter if they are highly ranked or lowly ranked, as they all are expected to follow the same disciplinary code. However, higher ranked people are permitted to give out orders to the lower ranks, and providing they are reasonable orders, the lower ranks are expected to carry out these orders immediately.

It is when rules and boundaries are put in place and if those rules are broken then punishments are given to correct disobedience and to enforce discipline. By being disciplined it should also improve someone’s morale. It is about changing behaviour.

Those of you that have been to school probably remember having to follow the rules or else you would have to face the wrath of the discipline policy. While it is true that the discipline policy that is used in Noble schools is effective, I believe that the discipline policy that should be used at K.M.S. is the policy used at Urban Prep Academies which reward students for good behavior instead of punishing them for misbehavior. The reason I choose this discipline policy is because the other discipline plan hurts low-income families, the other discipline plan is too harsh, and this policy is more productive.

The goals and the method of effective discipline is not to become angry at your child when they act up, but rather to guide them through how they should act. The author of “Effective Discipline for Children” explains in their journal the methods and the goals of this idea. One method this author has found to be the most successful is to set stable rules that are achievable for the child’s age and apply consequences when these rules are not followed. Giving a child a set of rules, the parent is teaching them right from wrong and keeping them out of harm's way. If the child does not follow these set rules, then they will face the consequences of their behavior. Another method the author sees as effective is to support positive behavior by giving
Everyone knows the purpose of child discipline. Parents need to set boundaries for their children and punish them when they cross the line. Children who do not have these boundaries set for them grow up with no respect for authority, and likely little to no respect for God. That’s why discipline is important.
