Trip to Barcelona Saturday morning, 24th of June 2004, 6.30am in the morning. Waking up for a twenty six hours long and boring bus ride to Barcelona with the Urdd. Leaving home and meeting down the bowlplex at 7:30am for a leaving time of 8am.
Started the long and boring journey, we’ve finally reached the ferry after five hours. Had to wait on the bus for another hour waiting to get boarded on the ferry. The boys and I went straight for food, and then to the deck to stretch our legs.
Back on the bus and travelled a few more hours. We’re only in France, and travelled twelve hours and it feels like we’ve been travelling for about three days. The roads are so

In the rooms there’s three sets of bunk beds, plenty of blankets and pillows. There’s a fridge that’s very useful in this very hot weather. There’s shower and toiletry equipment. There are small cupboards for storage.
The boys and I went for a walk around the accommodation and we took our swimming kit. It’s very easy to find your way around the accommodation. We found the swimming pool and we tossed ourselves in. The pool was quite cold, and very deep. The deepest part was over three meters deep and the shallowest was over a meter eighty. Unfortunately I see this conversation ending with Celeste and Jim both very upset and no solutions to the conflict being discussed. It seems that at the end of this scenario the conflict was beginning to spiral out of control, and communication was shutting down. It will end with Celeste and Jim blowing up at each other and not being willing to understand the others perspective about the situation. They will not talk for a while after this happens and Jim will hire Nikki as he intended to from the beginning. As a negative end to this conflict I see Jim and Celeste looking back over the conflict still trying to defend their position (retrospective goals).

When the New World was discovered, many people traveled on dangerous expeditions to explore and colonize the land. One of these expeditions was led by Panfilo de Narvaez in 1527. Out of the 250 men who traveled with him, only four survived. One of these men was named Cabeza de Vaca. Cabeza was able to survive because of three reasons. These reasons are that he was resourceful, friendly, and was able to communicate effectively.
If you image yourself riding on a boat to set sail for new land and riches and you get thrown off path well that is what happened to Cabeza and his crew. The narvaez expedition sailed in 1527 until 1532 they went on this expedition because they wanted to set sail for new world. After the expedition the ships were carried off course in the gulf of mexico to what is today called Tampa, Florida. Cabezas rafts were blown ashore to Galveston Island and Indians captured him and he was slave for two years (background essay). How did Cabeza de vaca survive? Cabeza de vaca survived because of his success as a healer, survival skills, and his respect for the native americans.
Cabeza de Vaca. Stranded, disoriented, and hungry, had to walk four hundred miles down a coast to the closest Spanish outpost. Cabeza de Vaca also had to cross a river nearly two hundred miles and didn’t know how to swim. And this wasn’t the only deranged scenario Cabeza de Vaca went through. According to Document A, Cabeza de Vaca and three hundred other men set sail in 1527 to colonize settlements on the Coast of Mexico. They were shipwrecked and was one of four other survivors by the time they got to the coast of Mexico. Cabeza de Vaca survived by being a healer, respecting Native Americans, and utilizing his wilderness skills.

Plan Colombia is a long-prevailing foreign aid package bestowed to the country of Colombia from the United States. This foreign aid package grants substantial financial assistance to Colombia, intending to fight the “War on Drugs” and to reduce the trafficking of narcoleptics, but there is a multitude of other factors and implications, both unintentional or indirect and intentional due to ulterior motives. To accomplish the goals of Plan Colombia, most of the aid has been provided in the form of armed forces. This situation is complicated because of the ongoing civil war between the government of Colombia and the left-wing Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia - People’s Army (FARC). It was the last day of my trip, and while I was washing plates in my grandmother’s house, the sunlight was reflected on the plates to my eyes. The fear going through my veins, my mind confused with everything that have happened two weeks ago. Uncertainty of what event would destroy or rebuild my heart. What would happen next ?. The future is unpredictable, so far that is a concept that now I understand. Considering the time spent in my country Colombia , vacations, friends, and parties were the words that stay on my mind for the first two weeks, otherwise the next two weeks were not what I planned. Firstable I was not supposed to be there for these last two weeks, but I am grateful. “No puedes viajar hoy” were the words asserted by the airline
