The case study will form the basis of three individual assignments that are to be completed at various points in the course.

Beginning with unemployment in the 2007-2009 recession, U.S. unemployment rates peaked at 10% as well as held 41 consecutive months at rates higher than eight percent (Lazear 1). The U.S. economy plummeted during this time; many attributed the shift to a large decrease in the number of employed workers. To be able to better understand the unemployment issue, we must first examine the form of unemployment faced by the U.S. economy. Many believe that the changes faced by the U.S. labor market

Gather relevant information about the five points you wrote about in Part 1, question 4 in the form of articles, Web site material, or other literature. In other words, collect five sources of literature on this subject.

This week, you are going to complete an Assignment in which you analyze two case studies. You will read each case and answer the questions included using the information you have gained from this course so far. Your answer should include an analysis of client strengths, possible interventions, and a reflection on the possible ethical issues and cultural influences as they might impact the case.

This lesson allows you to elaborate on the work you did in Lesson 12. Using the research proposal you developed in Lesson 12 as a foundation, choose a sampling methodology that compliments your original proposal. Do not include specific questions in your proposal. Use the structure illustrated below. The proposal will be evaluated using, in part, your use of the methodologies described in the text.

The completed analysis should be 1,000-1,250 words and should connect to your identified practice problem of interest.

It considers how we can measure the economy and the ways to do so. When evaluating our problem, we must take in mind the measure of what is at stake. We conduct measurements of the economy and all that we need to be able to get the full picture and get the absolute best information to make the best and most accurate decision. From that step, it will give us a clearer picture of whether we should take the ‘wait and see’ step or the ‘at your discretion’ step.
