2.1 It is self-evident that communication and interpersonal skills are crucial in the workplace. Good two-way communication is important to enable the flow of information in an effective way whether it be verbal or non-verbal. Good communication has a positive impact on the performance of the team including; everyone is clear what is expected from them, they receive good feedback and recognition of achievements which makes staff feel valued and boosts employee morale. Purpose: The purpose of this speech is to educate and inform my audience of the risks inherent from unintended hypothermia. I’m eager to alert perioperative staff of the potential dangers as well as the preventative measures that can be taken in order to avoid complications associated with unintended hypothermia. My central idea is hypothermia management saves lives.
An example of when it could be used is, ‘What time shall I come see you today?’
Understanding the way A.I. works is crucial to understanding A.I. goals. There are several traits that separate Artificial Intelligence from regular machines. One such trait is an A.I.’s ability to “think” through Neural Networks, which are networks made of simulated neurons and neuron layers designed to process and evaluate data. The simulated neurons are individual receptors designed to process and evaluate inputs. Following their evaluation, the neurons send an output to another simulated neuron in the next neuron layer. These neuron layers are layers of simulated neurons grouped by what type of input they receive and output they produce, that scales in complexity (Knight). MIT tech review senior editor Will Kight provided the example of
When the class was asked to read the story silently to themselves, T was only able to do this for a few minutes before his attention was focused on something else. In the book, it says, “attention is essential to the learning process” (Mcdevitt & Ormrod, 2013, p.240) T loses attention quickly when he is asked to do something on his own. When he loses attention I wonder if his learning process is being hindered because of this?

If any other adult came to me in the workplace needing further information, advice or support then I would try and help them to the best of my ability and knowledge but if the information they needed was above my job role as a teaching assistant then i may get into contact with another member of staff within the setting such as the class leader, teacher SENCO or the head teacher to make sure the information I hand over is correct if I was myself unsure or I would refer them onto a department who specialise in certain areas.

Routines reassure children as they begin to understand the structure of the day and predict what is coming next. This helps to cut anxiety. We could use a visual timetable to support children who aren't able to understand verbal prompts yet. We will read stories on each emotions.

Primary messages are direct and intentional contents and this can both be verbal and nonverbal. They way you choose the words and how express yourself can determine what type of message you are trying to portray. At work, my line manager came to my office and found me sitting on my desk, he wanted to speak to me about something concerning our department, he waited for me to complete typing my sentence before he excused himself and asked me if he could talk to me. I pushed an extra chair near him and "I said here have a seat."

I didn’t making time for her like I should. I hated doing this because I knew it hurt her feelings and one of these days she is going to get fed up with it and stop being my friend. So I started making
Communication differences – It is important to know the children in your school well as some may have communication difficulties which are not apparent on first meeting a child. A good example of this is a child who is on the Autistic Spectrum as their interpretation of social situations and abstract language tends to be greatly underdeveloped. You must speak plainly and with no ambiguity so as to no cause confusion. Children with a mild hearing loss may just need you to speak slowly and clearly, a more severe hearing loss may require sign language for effective communication and so it may be necessary to take training in sign language if a child with severe hearing loss is coming to your school.
